I suspect Blizzard didn't ban everyone who exploited it because, well, many of the people in the 'top' clans would be gone and it would be bad press. Perhaps this is a warning of sorts and future action will be harsher? MC wasn't the brightest in promoting it on stream, so it makes sense why Blizz used him to 'set an example'. But as for the rest (like Gabynator), we now know who the 'top players' who cheated are, thanks to the rollback.
I'm glad Blizzard is finally taking at least SOME action to keep the game legit, and hopefully this opens people's eyes to what (some of) their beloved 'best' players are actually up to.
Yeah i was fucking amazed when gaby got rolled back, i don't hate the guy and i don't get why everybody hates him but still, xploiter gotta get some punishment.
Now if they could really adress the turboHUD, the bots and all the other stuff would be amazing
It's like any hobby/passion I guess. Some people do it to pass time, others to be on the top. Doesn't matter if it's diablo, any kind of sport, or even making a collection in some way where you are happy to get that hard to get item and "be at the top".
If you do it to have a good time, you don't care, you just have fun. Once it becomes a passion, you spend 10+ hours per day, you want to be with the best.

Double standard banning one streamer and not banning all of em who streamed the exploit.
To which I'd say; "Don't cheat and you don't have to worry about having such a standard aimed your way".

What about girls?
ahahah win
I was going to ask if the name "exploitwhine" was already taken, but then I realized that you genuinely don't know how to spell "whine".
Tbh I think the people who do use the exploit heavily should be in trouble and or banned.
Besides that...I could GIVE A FUCK LESS about the leaderboards.
Why do you all care really that much? They know in the end they are truly losers for exploiting and they know they're never really #1.
Let them get there 1 minute boner of fame, "OMG IM TOP LOOK AT ME!!!"
I just laugh and spit in their face while I enjoy playing the game.

And to think about it... those examples, the top players, with or without exploits, they will be ahead of u anyway
the problem is the dozens clans with their whole populations, thats hundreds of ppl doing the exploit for couple days nonstop
the average joe is the one who makes your characters suck by comparison to the generality of ppl who exploited
and they had what, lets say 40.000 bloodshards to spam on 1h weps to find that ancient serpent sparker
there u go
