Here in Alaska, it's just so, open. You're surrounded by far off mountains and the night sky is as bright and clear as possible. It's special when the moon is full and bright; Everythings lit and you can pretend it's another world with the frosty trees all reflecting light like a thousand mirrors onto the frozen ground. Shadows are more profound and sharp, and seeing deeper into the surrounding forests is easier.
Sounds like an awesome place. Guess the isolation must weigh in after some time though. We are social creatures after all.
@ Vegas- You look like some Mexican prisoner- big tattooed biceps, mustache and mullet (?) hair cut. Awesome!

oh man, I had forgotten I'd typed that >< Yea you could say it does weigh in a bit, especially since I've lived in Dutch Harbor for 6 years, and the other 16 years either in Anchorage or Wasilla. That's probably why I've enjoyed WoW so much over the years, or why I like to peruse this forum =P
:Thumbs Up: My mother claims I'm Norwegian and Italian but I may have to go talk to her about who dad really was now that you mention it. Yes that was an 80's mullet before they were even called mullets. That video was crazy hilarious!
I really love my wife, she is comical even when she doesn't try. She discovered Skyrim about 2 months ago. Mind you she is awful at first and even 3rd person shooter games. She was killed by a level 1 mud crab, she also contracted vampirism once and didn't know it until she went out into the daylight and nearly burned to death. All she wants in the game is to be left alone while she gets a house (now you know why I need to get our real house closed on soon LOL), fixes it up, and finds treasure. She's always encumbered and can never run away from the creatures she encounters and doesn't understand why she always dies. You might think I should help her, oh I have but she still will do things her way regardless.

So I catch her chopping wood for the last 2 weeks straight, every time I come out to the room she plays in, I see her chopping wood. I ask her what she is doing? She replies "do you realize how much gold I get when I chop wood?!" So that has become her strategy as of late. Then for the last 2 days I have caught her chopping wood at night. So I ask why are you chopping wood at night now? She replies "because no one bothers me at night, I'm tired of being approached by all these people who are bothering me while I chop wood" ROLMAO!
I've offered to put her in god mode but she feels that would be cheating, but she won't leave town because she doesn't want to die either and she hates perishing all the time. So she chops wood and does things around town which she is quite happy doing. I can't help but love her when she does stuff like this.
LOL!! How much wood would a vegaswife chuck if a vegaswife could chuck wood?
Edit: Man I just played probably one of the funnest rounds of BF3 ever...lol!! Let me try and explain, for those who know the game the map Operation Firestorm has one huge mountain.
So me and my buddy sees that there's a guy up there so we decided to take the chopper and go kill the fucking camping troglodyte in the mountain. We fly there and discover a whole new "civilization"...there were like 5-8 troglodytes camping high in the mountain!!!! So we decided to land there and see if there's more of them or whether they'll come back. Guess what? They came came for like 3 times and each time we killed them!!! Retards...
And then in the next round on another map, me and my bud kept killing the same 2 guys...it was just funny. We'll be like: "Dude, there's a guy there, it's probably guy X..." and then we go there and it fucking is guy X!!! It's was just fucking hilarious!!! That's all.
So we just finished reading Pride and Prejudice in my AP Lit class.
I didn't expect to like it, but I actually really like it. There's a very prevalent tongue-in-cheek element to it and you end up finding humor in the subtleties of peoples' actions.
Now I get to write a ten page essay on it.

Dude, the way girls play video games is so fascinating to me when you have decisions to make. They approach them in a completely unique way from men. For various reasons both physiologically and from male experience with games I'm sure.

JaundiceBunny, I think you just proved the old cliche that some people never learn, hilarious!
Jajajaja, gonna check today if the same happens...lol. It was a good laugh! I didn't actually think any non-BF3 people gonna read the stuff I wrote...it's quite boring for those not familiar to the game I think :/
Me and my bro fly up that mountain with a chopper just for him to sometimes get out of the gunner seat knifing snipers then back in. Bastards didnt know what hit em!
Guess most people play without surround sound or sound completely off. It';s not hard not hearing a chopper
Lol yeah!! They must play with music something...Saw a vid of a couple of guys that planted C4 on a camping sniper troglodyte and then shot him with a RPG...

Seriously, she makes life decisions in Skyrim like she does in the real world. All the things she wants for real are the same things she wants in the game; to be away from annoying neighbors in a beautiful house with a nice view she can decorate and have lots of money.

Good luck with that, I've been on the losing end of that arrangement before, no fun.
It couldn't have come at a worse time too, bought a house, have student debt, financing a vehicle and paying for a wedding. I need D3 to distract my worries. On the bright side I didn't murder anyone this morning!
