Why did it seem to struggle so much during the beta? Even with nothing running in the background, it seemed to bog down when I was running at 1080P. I know they mentioned the actual game will run better than the beta... I hope it is a lot better, otherwise I'll be running on medium :-/

Yes its more than enough. Was it a serious question ?
Not what i expected, but I am not one to complain.
I have the 1GB version of the 4890. AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.42ghz. 8GB RAM. I played the demo on the highest settings but shadows at medium and got 45-60 fps. Shadows on high got 25-40 fps.
If you talk about your video cards I'll talk too! Come at me bro! xD
Well, not what I expected...where's the Ultra High? I challenge you BLIZZ! Bring me Ultra High! Bring it or I'll make a video of Diablo in D2 behaving like a cat!
Your comp must be a frickin' fire place. I built a comp for a friend with that gpu and man it is inefficient!

So, is there a source for this? Assuming that the gpu is the bottleneck, what kinds of fps should we expect? If 45fps is the min, that'd be golden.

Got this and 2 GHz sandy bridge quad core...

That connection would cost me $120 a month (at minimum) here in the States.
Nice surprise
Hell yeah. This is on my new MacBook Air, too.
I'm pretty sure I saw a blue post saying that the beta wasn't fully tuned and we will see a performance increase in the full game.
This is just one reason why I love Blizzard games. A 3-year-old card can still run high res.
No need to upgrade.
use 2x 5850 in crossfire
works fine! even is blizz claims that d3 don't support crossfire yet

Well high res is 3 year old so...

My Mac is doing just fine .... 0x1002|0x6741|High|ATI Radeon HD 6750
Luckily the wife doesn't use the computer much so I wont be bumped down from HIGH to LOW too often.
Good?
11MB/s (100mbps) + 100 channels (video game channels, SC, SC2, movies, Korean softcore porn) + Digital HD upgrade ($0.50USD) = $25.50USD

I received TWO beta keys. Eat it and like it.
Based upon comparable cards that ARE on the list (GeForce GTS 450 and AMD HD 6750), it'll surely be in the Medium to High range.
