Who the hell wants to roll another character just to try out a new build? This and the level 99 cap were artificial game extenders. Like the guy before said, you basically had one way to allocate your attribute points if you wanted to be successful in the late game. That is no customization to me.
As I am apparently in the minority around here, you know, having a full time job, I will be out of town working until Wednesday or Thursday night. If I didn't have to go this week, I was going to use a vacation day for Tuesday.
Assuming all 4 characters are the same level, If a monster in a single player game would give 100xp, then in a 4 player game, each player would receive 100xp. There are xp penalties though, if players are too far apart from one another in terms of their levels. Also if you are in areas much too high or low for your level. In other words, no powerlevelling your friends.
You don't need a guide. Do quests, kill stuff. There you go.

It's not an MMO where you have tons of places to quest at one time and you may not find the most efficient way to level up. You click on monsters to kill them. Gather more powerful equipment. Kill more powerful monsters. It's really a pretty simple concept. Not sure why people would need a levelling guide for a Diablo game.
I don't think that spaces are allowed. I have heard the character limit is 12. Probably to avoid names like XxXx!SuperAwesomeDiabloSlayer666420691337!xXxX
Wasn't the reasoning behind not having a HC RMAH because they didn't want people going after them after spending $100 on there characters only to die to server lag?
That's what I thought all along. I highly doubt Blizzard wants the hassle of listening to whiners complaining that they spent hundreds of dollars on gear and died due to an unexpected server crash. Then there's the (futile) threats of law suits, etc. Much simpler to deny RMAH access to HC characters.
I played D2 for a long time. Played HC, Died to lag. got over it.

What your asking for is just a direct contradiction to the idea of hardcore.
By not including those "features" as you say, is blizzard not just optimizing the hardcore experience to how it should be; Maximum risk! - It doesnt seem very hardcore if i can just logout as soon as i think im going to die.

Every hc characters stats would be:
Deaths: 0 (obviously)
Killed: Last Boss - Inferno
Logouts: 6, 000, 000
I wasn't saying they need to add any of those features, I was listing several features d2 hc players had. It makes no sense to lock a character in a room with a boss that you could have no possible knowledge on ahead of time to know if your character is strong enough to defeat it. Think of fighting duriel your first time sc or hc, and take away tp's, pots, and save and exit, all the stuff leading to him is pretty easy, you hop in there hits you once knocks you to 40% hp, you would run around in circles trying not to get hit, and thats how every boss fight in d3 would be.
Which is exactly why they had the requirement to beat the game at least once before making a HC character. That way, you know exactly what Duriel was going to do when you entered his lair. You could be prepared for it. But, people complained that they had to "waste" so much time in the standard mode before they could make a HC character. So, they lowered the requirement to 10 levels in standard. Sometimes you get what you wish for and still have things to complain about, huh?

Cutting it off would be more effective, though.

True enough. OK, how many do you think will be created, regardless if anyone else will ever see them?

My fiancee is Asian. I'm sorta in the same boat. Can I install?
