Hello guys as we recently learnt all paragon levels we earned with all of our heroes going to be converted in to paragon xp so its logical to farm paragon levels before 2.0.As i recently started playing d3 again i have some questions im sure there are others wondering about these too :
1.İs there a optimal moster power to farm more efficent ? or shall we stick to mp that we can clear rapidly.
2.İs it logical to swap our standart gear with bonus xp items such as cains and leorics signet and farm at lower mps ?
3.İs it possible to gain more xp by chaning our skill set to low damage+high mobility and droping mp level ?
4.İs there a META farming route like AlkaizerRoute ?
5.Does skiping elites increase or decrease xp gain ?
1. Yeah, stick to the MP that you can clear rapidly. Btw, if you have a group of players with which you get along well, that'll be the biggest XP boost (multiplayer XP bonus is multiplicative).
2. At higher MP levels it's not beneficial anymore. You can see the relative vs absolute increase in XP in this bonus XP calculator that I coded a while ago: http://d3xp.weebly.com/ - I kind of get rid of Hellfire at MP 3-4 and replace the ruby in my helmet at MP 5-6. Other MP gear is worthless.
3. You need to do timed runs and calculate that in a spreadsheet, it differs from class to class, spec to spec, gear to gear. There's no one-size-fits-all solution/answer.
4. Nope, you can just go about anywhere. Some say Fields of Misery/Weeping Hollow (act 1) are best, but Nubtro (a theorycrafting crazy barb on the official forums) did a lot of timed runs and he actually got insane XP/hour in many act 2 zones. And act 3 (especially Keep 2) works as well. Just move around and go wherever you like to play, since 1.08 there's not really a "don't go there zone" anymore.
5. Decrease. All white mobs' XP was scaled down after people exploited scorpions in Crater 2 MP10 runs. Of course you might skip crazy combos (waller/shielding/nightmarish/extra health) packs, but in general elite packs yield great XP compared to white mobs.
6. Like I said: YES. Unless the group doesn't work (e.g., TR monks/WW barbs are too fast for almost every other class/spec), but if you stick together and are at about the same level a full group will give you an insane XP boost. Again, you can see this in my XP calculator.
I wouldn't put my money on that paragon change to actually happen.
On twitter Blizzard also said they might change some details around, which I presume are for balancing purposes. I therefor wouldn't be surprised if, for example, only the highest 2 characters are added up, or the total experience is used. Or even more limited variations.

If it works as stated at the moment, you would be better levelling multiple chars to a lower plvl each than fewer chars to max., obviously subject to changes made by Blizz in the future, I suspect the total pXP is a likely candidate rather than just a total of all plvls.

Are you kidding? It's already been confirmed that the paragon change IS happening, and they've stated in the past that current paragon progress would be taken into account. Until we know the actual rate of exchange (exp or levels) I think it's fairly safe to say that any progress you're making now will be taken into account in the future. I would doubt there is going to be any accelerated exchange rate, so it doesn't really make any sense to "stock up" on paragon levels.
Personally I think the only thing that makes sense is for the paragon exp you have to be dropped directly into the new system, so unless you're already 100, get exp wherever it's fastest for you

Especially this is just WRONG, as it is stated at the moment it doesn't matter if you level one char to 100 or 5 chars to level 50. Why? Because it's both about the same XP, and just the XP matters, not the level (as of now, of course subject to change, but unlikely as this makes the most sense).
But seriously, let's not explain the same stuff in 5 different threads, reply to the big paragon discussion thread.
If you wanna answer OPs questions though you should propery READ what he asked - all his questions were just about general paragon leveling as of now and not RoS-related at all.

From what I'd seen I was under the impression it was the plvl that mattered, seems I'm wrong then.

Its already been said that paragon system will go by XP not levels. So its Xp added up between all classes.
I also thought that it was all lvls combned but from recent reports its not If they go by exp then there wont be much of a difference. 99-100 took about 315mil exp, if they keep p the same path with the exp, 100-101 will be prob 318-320mil exp. So if you have 2 100 lvl paragon characters, in all reality you only really have 120 COMBINED paragon lvls.

I was not discrediting the new paragon system, I am wary of the tiny details. As announced on Twitter, Blizzard is still working on the details. Personally I don't think that people with the extreme 10x 100 paragon will be ahead a lot.

I think people should take any details about the system with a grain of salt right now. It's still WAY early and things can and will change in the coming months.

Ding ding ding ding... we have a WINNER! :Thumbs Up:

That may be true, but Blizzard knows damn well that once they announced account-wide paragon levels, people would start sinking more time into the game expecting a future payoff when Paragon 2.0 ships. Regardless of the details, if they mess around with it too much (i.e. only counting your highest character's paragon level, introducing a stupidly steep XP curve, etc), they will face that rarest of things... legitimate player backlash.

Hope that helps. If you have questions regarding paragon in RoS, there's a thread about that: http://www.diablofan...gon-discussion/
