While I kept coming to Diablo 2 over many years, Diablo 3 got boring really quickly.
I understand that this game is still ok for WoW players. The game was, after all, made by developers who have not worked on previous Diablo games. But for me who grew really tired of WoW over so many years, this is not ok.
It's just way too much like WoW. You rush to lvl 60 then it becomes endless farm for gear.
There's not even enough variation. For example the spider cave in Act 1, there are only 4 variations of that map. They call that random generating maps? Pathetic.

Anyone in EU wanna buy a CE with 3 lvl 60s?
QQ more. If you don't like it get off our forums. Really why do you think we give a shit about your opinion. You sure as hell wouldn't give a shit about mine. So keep it to yourself and uninstall and remove yourself from the forums.
Save me the headache of ever having to read another shitty post. So terrible in fact i responded just to say this.
a bold statement with little to no arguments to back it up with...
this should go well
Go ahead, prove me wrong.
The game is a disgrace to Diablo 1 and 2.
1. Itemization - fail (no need to explain)
2. AH - ruined the need to farm gear and that warm feeling when you get an upgrade.
3. Randomization - failed, no need to explain, but I did give an example in my original post. You know it failed when you know where you have to go.
4. Characters - Barbarians forced into 1h + shield, monks forced into 1h + shield. Wizards Force Armor rune was OP, then devs broke it on purpose a long time ago and still have not fixed it - LOL. One of many examples.
5. Gameplay - I log in, I kill few champions, get 5 stacks, do Siegebreaker run, get lvl 55 rares (LOL!), grow tired of it, log off.
lol fanboys are fanboys.
the dude is entitled to post his opinion of the game, if you dont wanna read it i suggest not clicking the topic!
pro tip for an angry fanboy
He makes one point. Your just a fool. If you played Diablo 3 for more than 60 hours you got your money out of it. Carry on if you don't like the game and quit complaining about it. Try it in a few months when some stuff has changed. All diablo 2 was, an endless grind for rare gear. LoD the unique situation was a terrible design.
Ok edited while I made a post. My question is did you even play diablo 2? Took 3 characters to figure out how to build it without using the forums. Diablo 3 is so far a much better game. Who cares that its not perfect no game is. Just like we werent meant to be doing inferno. Sure they underestimated us but w/e people sometimes do. If this game had no inferno it would be amazing.
Zipples, what's wrong with Inferno?
The only problem is that melee classes are having hard time unless they go 1h + shield (reason why I rerolled to DH).
There are so many other issues in this game that need to be solved, but I hardly doubt they will be solved as part of them are core of the game.
ITT: OP who has 'rushed' to 60 and then played the game endlessly for a couple weeks is bored and blames it on the game.
Go away, please, and whine to someone who cares. You got your money's worth already.
No I did not, I actually took a long time playing my first lvl 60, explored every corner of every map, read every conversation, every lore book. I defied everyone who kept whining about barbarians in Inferno. I refused to go 1h + shield and made few videos showing that 2h is viable even in Act 2. I got to Act 3 but grew bored of how hard it was compared to ranged classes.
On my DH I have cleared almost everything (except Diablo), my wizard is still in Act 1 Inferno though.

1. Aside from legendaries which, which they have already said repeatedly are being buffed, itemization is no different then D2's.
2. Same as D2, all they did was make it more convenient by adding an in game interface for "trading" as opposed to forcing people to go to various forums to trade with people.
3. Only thing I agree with, the random maps are far less random then they were in D2. I don't see it as a huge problem though as they map randomization was never a big draw to me anyway.
4. Barbs are pretty much forced into shields yes, monks however you couldn't be more wrong, once you get decent gear 2 weapons is more than viable except against the most annoying affixes. Force armor is NOT broken is was hotfixed because it made you literally invincible if you geared right. It works just fine and is still extremely powerful as long as you're not getting hit for 2x your max HP.
5. And again that's different then D2 how? lol Baal MF runs or ubers all day long. At least D3 is going to have an actual PVP system to give us something else to do without having to hunt for people to fight like D2.

A bit yes, they do need to make some tweaks, you clearly never played Vanilla D2, lol.
2. AH - ruined the need to farm gear and that warm feeling when you get an upgrade.
Dont use it? Were you forced to use D2JSP in D2? Get some self control.
3. Randomization - failed, no need to explain, but I did give an example in my original post. You know it failed when you know where you have to go.
This is humorus, there is more randomization in D3 then D2 ever had, by a long shot, this is literally the stupidest complaint leveled against D3, have you ever played D2?
4. Characters - Barbarians forced into 1h + shield, monks forced into 1h + shield. Wizards Force Armor rune was OP, then devs broke it on purpose a long time ago and still have not fixed it - LOL. One of many examples.
To an extent you are correct, but the Inferno damage nerf is incoming, so less focus on defense will be required.
5. Gameplay - I log in, I kill few champions, get 5 stacks, do Siegebreaker run, get lvl 55 rares (LOL!), grow tired of it, log off.
Log in, do 5546 Baal/Mephy runs, get 1 good item. Yeah, you clearly never played D2 ever.

#3, the random maps are terrible this has been the only fail so far.
#4, when you get better gear you smash your way through without needing such tactics, then turtle for next act till you get more gear... repeat.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.

well said, but now its get 5 stacks of NV and do inferno ponies
The non-random maps are the biggest weakness in this game; no doubt. I think that was done out of pure laziness, TBH.
I think it was done so that people who wanted to explore could explore, and people who wanted to just move on to the next area could do so without wasting 10 minutes trying to find the exit.
But you're probably right. Blizzard is very, very lazy.

Have you even played WoW ? D3's gameplay is closer to D2 than to WoW by a million years.
