A comparison and evolution look at different types of monsters in Diablo 2 & Diablo 3. Keep in mind, we only have access to just part of Act 1 with the Diablo 3 beta ... with the exception of the leaked area. When the game releases there might be more monsters like those in Diablo 2, or the evolved version.
Yeah, that was cool to see, really hope there's more "evolution's" in further acts. Nice little video though, definitely keep 'em up! Any Diablo coverage is good Diablo coverage =)
I must admit I'm a bit concerned about the looks of later monsters, some seems to look good but others seems a bit too cartoonish/not demonic enough.. In Diablo 2 every monsters looked, well, monstruous (literally). Anyway, only a month and a half until we know the answer.

I agree. But like you said, we'll find out more in a month and a half.
One thing comparing the electric bats to the fowl crow = red blood hawk its the same unit but in act 2 in the tombs there are bats that drop down in some areas that also have electric attacks I think those are more similar to the electric bats from D3 other than that cool video

You mean the Bat Demon in Act2? It may be electric, but it looks nothing like the one in D3. Strangely the Blood Hawk looks more similar to the Carrion Bat.
Good video =) If I had any constructive criticism it would be that you should speed up your videos slightly. People who get bored easy don't like things that are drawn out =) A specific example would be the transition between pulling up the D3 window and the D2 window, imho it should be a lot shorter, like a second or two =)

Just wanted people to have a good look at each monster class. But I do agree, I should have made it shorter.
Nice vid. Maybe you could speed up that transmission in between diablo 2 and 3 clips, it's bit hard to watch them moving slowly to whole video screen. Or maybe it's just me
Yeah, I should have made it faster. Just wanted every one to have a good look at each monster type.

Thanks man. Basically everything has already been covered in the Beta. So I’m thinking outside the box =p
Great vid, I wonder why they decided to change all the names of these monsters, despite some of them being the same monsters from d2 like the quill rat.

It's a good video, regardless. +1 rep for ya
