Hey folks I am new to the forums. I had an idea that i thought would be worth sharing with the community. Would it be great to have a game mode that is similiar to hardcore, where once the game (difficulty inferno+) ("incineration") where you can progress through out the acts, but it will end suddenly when all of the game's players are dead simultaneously; thus, you would have to start over. Progression will be ranked and item drops will be uber. Imagine how difficult and fun this could be, forcing players to make strategies and combinations that work. trial and error, if you would. thoughts? Thanks

yes, I understand that now. however, this can and would be an optional mode, not all players are viable to this mode and it should not be forced. Have they stated whether or not they will have hardcore for solo?
I don't understand your idea. Are you suggesting a new difficulty where at some point, all of the players die simultaneously for no reason? If that is the suggestion, then no, I do not think that sounds like fun.
edit: Okay, I see what you're saying now. You're describing Hardcore mode.

That's the point. If the drops are uber, then diablo players want to be able to solo it, otherwise they bring up stupid stuff like teamplay in WoW.
i.e. if the drops are better in your incinerate option and forces people to do teamplay, no one wants it.
I'm not sure what you mean by will not have hardcore for solo. Hardcore is hardcore whether or not you play by yourself (private game) or with others...

When all of the players are killed in combat, or within a certain time limit or zone. Such as fighting a boss, not just sporadicily dying. think of it as a hardcore ranked PVE co-op/ solo option
I kinda got the impression its like horde mode style where as you play if somebody dies you can revive them and keep going until everybody dies. Or no revives but last man standing "wins". as for perma death not sure if that what you meant or not

your going to get diablo to 1% then the game freezes and says " now get a life"...
it will make me cry but funny at the same time
