On the picture at bottom, what is my world of warcraft guild tabard design doing in diablo 3 lol. That's too funny.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I love all loot fest kind of game! I will be playing all of them for the next few years. Loot fest games I'm looking forward to: LotR: War in the North,Torchlight 2,Borderlands 2 and of course Diablo 3.
“Real Money” Auction House. You can sell and buy Items for Real Money. You have to pay fee to Blizzard for it. You can also use an Ingame-Gold Acution House.
Blizzard will not sell Gold or Items. It is just Player to Player Trading.
The Auction House has an amazing search system it sorts the items by the best stats for your character.
"The Auction House has an amazing search system it sorts the items by the best stats for your character."
What the hell, it chooses what's best for you or what ? That's ridiculous.

What the fuck ?! If this is true they just ruined the whole game.
Why?
It seems logical, that Blizzard supports a secure and safe way to do real-life buy trading. It will happen regardless of blizzards involvement or not. Atleast blizzard wants to take part of it, and ackknowledges it existence and need to be. So therefore they etablish an officiel feature for it.
How's that bad?
Because they're monetizing features that should be done for free. That said, I'm glad. I'd rather people be put off by the AH and actually trade face to face.
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.
I hope the currency in Diablo 3 doesnt become only real money. It might turn that way though is these things are true.
While I really love the real money AH. I was wondering the same thing.
My guess is that gold will be very important for a lot of different things in-game, making it very esential anyways.
Of course, end-game very rare items will be mostly out for real money, which is okay for me.
And Demon Hunter has 2 resource systems -Hate and Discipline... wtf? how does that work, is the resource ball split in half?
There's a few theories going around. Perhaps some skills increase Hate, which skills that require Hate will increase Discipline, which will be consumed to use skills that use strictly Discipline. I suppose that sounds like a time consuming combo that pretty much makes the DH more of a burden for PvP, but I guess we will see what happens.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a real money AH is esseeeeennnntially the same as having ingame d2jsp?
I don't understand why people would complain about this, has nobody used d2jsp before? It IS the same
Really, some people are complaining because they don't exactly feel like being stood up by some rich dude in PvP who has barely played the game as much as someone else and has better gear just because they can afford it with real money.

EDIT: Nevermind, supposedly these screens are from the press kit.
So glad Blizzard finally added this kind of auction house with real money.
I hope we will get more information about UI, Skills and some other juicy stuff after 12...

This is the one I really like, it's listed on the Inc Gamers page that the info came from, link >

The leak was confirmed by Nizaris who was at the press event.
