I want the complex intricacies detailed and shown. I want the nuts and bolts. Looks like some cool effects, gotta hand them that. Definately some opportunity for synergy with skills, but where's the meat and bones ....the numbers? The balancing?
Thanks for posting, Stiven. Was good to see but I sure as shit hope they get a bit deeper into the core of itemization. Talk to us like we're intelligent theory-crafters, Blizzard, not 10 year olds.
Avalanche wasn't impressive at all. It looks just like Meteor - meteor shower.
Gotta agree here, so disappointing. From a design standpoint they got the right idea, a great ranged attack for the Barb, cool idea and all, but really the execution was so lackluster. Just boulders falling; nothing special at all. I wish they'd go back to the drawing board and make it a bit flashier.

IDK what they're doing with balancing, because their numbers game is fucking ridiculous. 750-900 int ON A LEGENDARY AS THE STANDARD STAT RANGE FOR A PRIMARY STAT!!! I mean i feel like the difficulty curve has to be an exponential function of at least 5. the curve's been pretty steady but it's gotta be fucking hella hard if they're giving us 3k Damage, 8.5% crit chance, 50% Crit Damage, Average of 825 Main stat plus Vitality, and AS plus a Skill bonus that can radically improve skill builds, plus Item sets that look to me like they're ACTUALLY USEFUL... Looking at you Tal's! Someone even asked this question if they're worried about all the hgih overpowered numbers, and they literally said nah not worried at all Big numbers is good....

Dude, it's way too early for that, and not the type of thing they show at blizzcon anyway.

Except most people who play the game arent intelligent theory-crafters and any theory-crafting is pointless until the numbers get finalized. The features are what is important, they can figure out the math later.

What I'm saying is....I thought it would be a good idea to give examples. They know damn well that there are throngs of core fans that they wouldn't need to speak down to in order for them to understand.
They've been deflecting a zillion technical questions at the Bnet forum, always saying "Blizzcon". Well, them alligators is neat but they answer NOTHING. I'm sensing the same cavalier attitude that led to the most anticipated ARPG ever released, failing and left stagnant for nearly it's first two years.
I expected a bit more of an open decorum with their jilted fans.
Don't get me wrong. I'm excited, love what I'm hearing and it appears they worked hard to improve the game. I just expected more effort to be made to explain the clockwork inner workings of their itemization ideas. Hopefully some info will pop up on the forums before the weekend is out, or at least early in the week.

It's the only one that doesn't appear on youtube at the moment.
