    "The next change will be to Healing. Currently, Healing provided by gear isn't very valuable because you receive the vast amount of your healing from Health Globes. During internal testing, we discovered that as you reached higher Greater Rift levels, you really wanted more of your healing to come from your gear in order to survive. To facilitate this, we are reducing the amount of healing Health Globes provide, but buffing Life on Hit and Life Regeneration on gear to compensate. This change should make a more consistent experience when you turn up the difficulty (or reach a higher tier in a Greater Rift) in situations where you’re not killing as quickly and actually require the increased Healing."

    The way this is worded makes me think they are trying to make Health Globes and self-healing separate factors, which would explain the current behavior. If that's the case, they need to at least change the tooltips and put an orange diamond on Health Globe+ stats.

    Ok, it's possible this is an old issue and I'm just now noticing it, or I'm just terribly misunderstanding something. The tooltip for Healing says it is affected by, among other things, "Health Globe Healing Bonus". Likewise, the "Health Globes and Potions Grant" stat does NOT have an orange diamond, which means it should be part of the calculation for Healing when comparing different equipment pieces. Neither of these things seems to be true. Equipping/un-equipping an item with the stat does not change the Healing amount, and does not seem to have any effect on item comparisons.

    Is this actually as huge an oversight as it seems to be? Or am I just missing something?

    I don't mind waiting 3 months to get access to the best loot if that means I don't have to wipe my progress every 3 months. Not that I'll never play seasons, I might still check them out just for a change of pace, same with pvp. I'm fine with seasons as they are currently planned. Just my 2c.

    If your main goal is for her not to die, then have her stay as Barb or Crusader with lots of defensive skills and passives, then you go as Monk with lots of protection/healing.

    It isn't spelled out well, but it's much more likely that we get 2 extra slots standard, and an ADDITIONAL 3 for the Deluxe, for a total of 15 slots.

    I was referring specifically to the SOJ-related Uber Diablo that just appeared semi-randomly. My point was that while some randomness is good, it helps to actually know what you're doing and how to accomplish it, even if it's not guaranteed.

    As for Pandemonium Tristram, that is more along the lines of what I'd like to see, but for all 7 evils, either individually or together. Maybe some kind of marathon where you have to fight them all back to back and have to start over if you die.

    And yes, I saw the new infernal machines. I'm assuming those are to replace the current version, and let you either select which boss pair you want to fight before crafting it or at the very least let you know which portal the machine will open before you use it. The big question is, are those old uber fights still worth doing without an upgraded Hellfire Ring?

    I'm not concerned about the implementation as much as the actual fight, and the rewards for doing it. I'd rather not go back to the D2 method, though, unless they make it more intuitive.

    My hope, long-term, is that they have uber versions of all 7 Evils, and possibly a grand final battle with all 7 at once. Will probably need to wait for the 2nd expansion to get anything like that.

    THANK. YOU. BLIZZARD. Knockback on a barb is so stupid. It's nice there's a rune for the people who want it, but removing it from the base skill for Bash and Seismic Slam is a huge plus for me.




    • Companion Cost: 10 Discipline / Cooldown: 30 seconds / SummonActive: Your raven deals an additional 1000% damage on its next attack. / Passive: Summons a raven companion that pecks at enemies for 100% of your weapon damage as Physical.

    Awesome. Now do that for all the passives.


    Enduring Ally : Active: Your mystic ally sacrifices itself to heal you for 100% of your maximum Life. The cooldown on Mystic Ally is increased to 50 seconds. / Passive: A mystic ally fights by your side that increases your Life per Second by 826.


    Yup. Knew that was coming. Still awesome, though.
