PvP Hoped to be Added 'Way' Before the End of the Year
Jay Wilson replied to some concerns on the translation of his PvP statement at the TW press conference. He made it clear that he hopes to get PvP added to Diablo III 'way' before the end of the year!
Just read no arenas till ~2013 for DIII?! Surely this is just slander, as waiting a half a year for arena's is outrageous...
pure slander (Source)
It came from a translation from an interview you did recently. It basically says that you said "before 2013".
before 2013 is what I said. I also said I hoped it was 'way' before the end of the year. (Source)
So the Portrait of a Champion art contest we're holding in the Darkness Falls. Heroes Rise. promo site continues to just completely render me speechless.
The contest ends this Sunday at midnight, and we're probably guaranteed to see a huge influx of additional pieces just before the deadline, but there's just so much awesome art to look through I wanted to get a thread going for people to throw links into for their favorites.
1. Visit the art gallery
2. Click on a piece of art
3. Copy the URL
4. Post in this thread
Don't forget by clicking the thumbs-up button on a piece of art you can help show us which ones you all like before we choose the winners, so I highly recommend going through each of them and 'thumbs-up' all the ones you like.
Book of Cain
Book of Cain is a must-have if you want to get a succinct, yet very flavorful overview of the Diablo universe. It takes you from the dawn of time to the creation of Sanctuary, including breakdowns of the hierarchy of angels and demons.
It's a great bit of story too, as it's from Deckard Cain's point-of-view, meaning the lore isn't exactly laid out in an omniscient way. It's documented as best as possible by a character within the lore.
Collectors Edition
Both Walmart and Target should have some copies of the CE to sell on the 15th.
Best of luck! (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Client Unlock Any idea as to when we will be able to "install" the retail client (digital copy) and download a patch before midnight launch? <3
The client will unlock when your region hits its midnight release, not before. (Source)
PvP Duels cool thanks bro. what I actually meant was a PVP duel system much like WOW ie /duel. A place holder until the arena sys is launched
No, no plans for duels. (Source)
Each week, a new class journeys to the town of Tristram to join the Gathering of Heroes. Accompany these adventurers in their fight for Sanctuary and customize a Mark of Valor banner to herald your march against the forces of darkness.
He (or she) who dares, wins! Those brave enough to upload their own photos will earn a chance to become "Hero of the Day" and win one of four SteelSeries gaming mouse pads signed by the Diablo III development team. But time is running out! The Hero of the Day contest ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 10, so submit your Mark of Valor entry before it's too late.
To see the winners of the Hero of Day for the barbarian, demon hunter, and monk, head on over to the Hero of Day gallery. For more information about the contest itself, see the official rules and FAQ.
your comparing the overall article heading and not looking at the topic heading o.0 The topic is about pvp way before the end of the year, if you read the main post topic, it has his full quote of "PvP Hoped to be Added 'Way' Before the End of the Year"
You can only fit so much into a full article title
same as "Portrait of a Champion" there is no Portrait of a Champion posted, but a topic about wanting your fav ones posted.. headline is summary of whats in
As for the dyes, I think I would've preferred having a giant image file, but good effort! I like that there's some vibrant pinks and greens in there. Makes me think, however, that only a small handful of colours will ever be used.

Yeah, I fully expect that the majority of dyed armor will revolve around a few colors. Favorites and all that. Still, there will be other players who decide to go for something a bit different.

http://www.mediafire.com/#k555ro8effdo1 they were originally in rar's for reading in a comic book reader, Kirisu said this was the youtube generation so he made slideshows with them.
I consider this a personal achievement ... actually making a blue post with a bunch of blues responding and breaking 300 responses! It's like the blizz forums are a game and I just won haha.
Still disappointed that Bash didn't answer my in-game duel question directly.
Anyway my god does the forums ever take time away, that was nearly 5 hours of reading and writing with only a few short breaks. I could never be a forum admin.
