yay for dumb tooltips....? they better allow us to switch to "complicated tooltips" even though they arent...
You click control and they pop up with the advanced ones. I can also bet money that they will allow you to toggle on advanced tool tips 100% of the time, rather than having to click an additional key to view them.
I really can't wait to get back on the beta to see what these new affixes do. If they have a large impact I am going to be so damn excited. The build potential and affix combinations just got exponentially more exciting.

well yea but the affixes might be miniscule at low lvl or not even be available. i dont care about the beta build variet because its literally 1/48th of the actual game. and its only utilizing like 1/10000th of the skill system.

Its me or ignore pain runes changes do not make sense?
With indigo you can have it active 27% of the time
With golden you can have it active 30% of the time , with a nice knock back , with damage! (but requires spam)
Also disagree with WOTB for mentionned reasons, it also changes the significance of it with its golden rune =(
they are new ID's they are new. ( compared them to patch 9 )
StringList definitions don't have ids, only hashes based on the non-NLS string (which did not change). It's possible that the definitions changed in the AffixList.gam file, but since you didn't post those, not sure. I don't have the new patch client just yet so not sure if you were basing your info on an advanced copy of the patch MPQs.
if they dont remove info when its removed in another patch, that might be why they are still up
I also know http://wowbox.tw/d3/ has them set as patch 8 as new (I think their mouse over is just outdated and it should be marked as 10 due to link below), regardless, there have been changes
I'm also really curious to know what these new skill affixes mean, and why there are 8 tiers of them.
Are Runes going to have 8 tiers now, and a 6th type being added? Something tells me it won't be that straightforward.
As for the skill system, it sounds better than the Nephalem Altar, but I still wish that they would make it harder to swap out your skills. I really want a particular skill build to mean something, even though your gear plays a bigger part in defining your character than it did in D2.
I just double checked the original beta enUS_Text.mpq, and it already contained all the skill affixes. And the definitions for the affixes was in the original beta CoreData.mpq.
You did post the skill changes, but not the affix ones, so maybe that's where the confusion is coming from.
Do you guys get early versions of the patched MPQs? Was wondering how you could have changes posted before the patch is even available for download.

That site has tons of obsolete information and I have found it to be very unreliable. As just one example, they still have TreasureClass info listed when it was removed from the game client circa patch 2 or 3.
the site shows old value at 162.4 (exactly double), but that depends on what level the site calculates spells, v's looking into it, ill update the post if he finds something

o.0 you must have been typing awhile, check my update, they even have it listed as patch 10
Wowbox is fantastic, just because they keep old stuff (which they guy tells you) they update stuff faster, I like them a lot. they were the first as well.
When it comes to the exact changes, I dont have those for me yet.
anyway im taken a nap till patch goes out, im beat =(

When whining about hte Hydra nerf, did you read the new affix for it? Of the myriad... definitely a strong implication.
