Dorge, forgive me, but really you're not a staff member. They make that call. If you think it should be locked then report it.
I just do not see why they should have the privilege of showing up at all. They are essentially spam in the user list when I view it. I don't see a point why they should.
Also, I've never been banned from here.. but don't you have to log into your account for it to show you as being active? When you get banned from the forums are you allowed to log in and just not post or are you not even allowed that?

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.

Your absolutely right Seth. The usergroup is actually set to NOT display in the user list. So we seem to have stumbled on a bug. I'm looking further into this now.
How can they be browsing the forums if they cannot even view it?
Give the guy a break, he's new!

This thread is funny fun.
I personally wouldn't care if George Bush showed up on the list..I rarely even look at that thing.
I didn't realize this was an unintentional side effect (is that the right term?).
But it's not a side-effect of anything that was done recently.
Banned accounts have been visible in the online user-list for a long time.
Spam-bots and banned members, alike...
I've questioned it more than once, before mockery sold the site, and no one has ever been able to give a definitive answer.
So who are the white users now that the banned users have their names with lines going through them?
I think they may have replaced the colored user-name with the strike-through.
Accounts in my watch list that were banned and colored the other day are no longer colored, but are striken-through.

If I had a dime everytime a question was asked that this thread answers... I wouldn't be a millionaire, but I sure could have bought a computer at least
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
Banned users are now Strikethrough. White is for the Site Analyst. A complete list of username designations can be found here. They're talked about in more detail here.

That's an unfortunate outlook and one that is going to keep getting you into trouble.
