Less Cake, More Demons: Happy Anniversary, Diablo III!
Blizzard has enabled the Anniversary buff we datamined last month! 25% Magic Find and Experience Gained for all! This could be just on EU for now.

We've grown and improved a lot since release, both as a game team and as a community, and thanks to your feedback, passion, and unquenchable bloodlust, we expect the next year to be even more epic.

To celebrate this milestone and the community that made it possible, we're giving away free buffs! (Who doesn't like free buffs?) Players who log in to defend Sanctuary between May 15 and May 21 will receive a 25% boost to their Magic Find and +EXP stats. The buff is only available while logged in to the game, but it will apply to all characters as well as stack with other similar bonuses -- the +EXP bonus will stack multiplicatively and the Magic Find bonus will stack above the 300% cap!

Happy demon-hunting, Nephalem. Thank you for your continued support, and we wish you the best of adventures in the coming year!

All the shit they have put us through this year, one would think they would give at least 100% MF.

wow, what an anniversary ! it's like nothing ever seen before, great to see the tremendous amount of involvement put by Blizzard towards D3.

better yet why don't they just give very1 perfect rolled items... tbh I didn't expect them to give anything so I will gladly accept the 25% buff.

So, we can do 200m xp/hour or more already, and now we get another 25% for a week? Grats on PL100 to all of you!

I knew if I just had an extra 25% MF then, THEN, I would find items that were upgrades once every 100 hours.

    lol

I really like this patch and this one-year present. I think it could be active for little bit longer - 2 weeks would be great.

or even better yet, do something more inspired than a MF buff? To think of it, an MF buff, is damn near the most uninspired way to celebrate the anniversary.

The way this is worded, I'm wondering if they mean that if you log into the game during the time period that all of your characters get the buff permanently? If not, it seems like it'd have been easier just to say that during the week you get the buff, rather than talking about having to log in and how it affects all characters in your account. Even if true, it's still oddly worded so I'm not sure.
...and if you disagree with me, you're probably <insert random ad hominem attack here>.

The wording is odd, but i doubt it is going to be a permanent +25% MF and exp buff.

I would rather have the item revamp than any amount of MF. MF isn't very useful when all you get is junk, even legendary junk that is barely worth salvaging vs vendoring.

have patience if you can't wait just take a break from the game, it takes time to implement the change of itemization. No point trying to rush them they are taking there time to do it right and make the game better.
