Unlock #8 - Diablo III Developer Diaries, Part Five
Our Diablo III Dev Diary video series concludes as Jason Regier, Jay Wilson, and Christian Lichtner discuss Inferno difficulty, monster affixes, achievements, release expectations, PvP, and more in this exclusive interview from March 21, 2012.
Inferno sounds like it'll turn out as intended. Now if I can just get to that difficulty level...
As for PvP, it doesn't really hold my interest at this point (notwithstanding not even having been implemented). If it turns out to have a gentler learning curve for inexperienced players such as myself, I might try it out.
Honestly though, that bums me out a bit. I was hoping to play a lot this first week and sell some of the good gear I find while it's you know... rare? ::sigh::

No one was going to be selling stuff for cash in the first week anyways. And I'm sure this is them making sure the auction house can take the stress of use with gold auctions. It's only common sense when real money is involved.
That was a really good interview. Can tell how much they love playing the game in this one. That's always a good sign. Sometimes you can just tell a game isn't working as intended during demos and such.
If someone go to work everyday, pull out their hair and try catch the best stuff from their brain out for me, for 7 fucking years?
Yeah, the very first thing I am gonna do is appreciate them, Does Not Matter what/how is the outcome.
Does anyone think that the 100% unlock might be the second TV commercial? Bashiok mentioned that the final video would "melt our brain meat". Isn't the new one doing just that?
Again, I could be eating my words soon enough, but just speculating here...

Are you kidding me? Some people really want to be the first person to hit 60... especially since I'm sure it's a feat of strength. There's no doubt that a good handful of people would be willing to pay top dollar for items while leveling up... not to mention that "around" 1 week to blizzard means 2-3 weeks and the fact that I'll be level 60 before the real-money auction house is live.

It won't be, according to what was data-mined when the D3 promo site was launched.
Important 2: A Second TV spot is now out along with two Jay Wilson Interviews, must see stuff.
