LOL, no.
Garbage in, garbage out. The community was diverse and enjoyable when the game first came out but shortly after everyone discovered what D3 ended up being, those with sense left and all you had left were rabid fanboys furious that people didn't think this was another great entry in the Diablo franchise.
It is quite interesting that you post in the very site that includes your self in this "fanboy" tag you have placed over every one else that see some enjoy ment out d3. Sure is is not as amazing as the 10+ years of waiting and hype building up to it, but it dose have promise and it still is fun non the less. so while i register here and make my first post here just to call you out as a hypocrite, i now say your opinion has been nullified.
I'm a fan of the other Diablo games and thus follow the fansites because it's not impossible to fix a game. Right now the community is garbage because the game is garbage. Obviously posting on a fansite doesn't make you a fanboy because your voice has to be heard somehow. But I certainly stopped playing the game long ago.
If the franchise didn't have such a huge following prior to this game all the fansites for it wouldn't even be running and it would just die lonely in the bargain bins. The majority of the people who stopped playing WANT it to succeed (if for nothing else than to get their money's worth), but that doesn't mean they still play and thus all you have left are people with low standards. The logic is simple and it's easy to understand why the community in-game is so bad.
Something should ring a bell to you D3 white knights when the best selling PC game of all time (D3) makes nearly none of the high-profile gaming sites top games of 2012 list.
I completely agree. I too follow fan sites and wait for things to be fixed. D2 wasn't good until later in its lifespan and they're actively patching D3.
What you say about not being on top 2012 lists is totally true. Although, I am curious as to why people always say "of all time" like it will never be crushed? It's not the best-selling PC game of all time, just the best-selling to date.

I totally agree, I didn't like TDM in BF3, but I still played it a bit here and there. It wasn't 1 hour and done forever, but more 1 hour, come back in a week and do another hour. If they want someone everyone will love and play forever, that's a really hard goal to hit. They could make a DoTA style game, or endless dungeon, or open world hostility ... but not everyone is going to like it.

Because they said at the beginning there would be a stable economy and they wouldn't need to have a ladder as a fix like for D2. Oh fail. Also, they mentioned the non-casual nature of rankings so there would never be a ladder.

It's just because "best" means most "efficient" which means "winning" in a game you can't win at. For PvP, it's all going to be done via matchmaking so you won't need any gear to find a specific match, unless you're at the top of the non-publicized "ladder".
So yeah, do what you please. For people farming up P-levels, archon solo will be the fastest for your wiz.

If you want to be tanky and take 50 mins to kill something, that's your own perogative and it's not going to be an "iwin button" for anyone, in fact it's quite the opposite. That's 48 more minutes of not inflating the economy, so why would anyone be against it?

As per your questions, AR is 1/10 of armor so you can treat 1000 armor like 100 AR. It's most optimal to keep these in even ratio with each other, so don't just stack one.
