To be honest i think no class will be capable of doing that in hardcore without the AH even with LOTS of patience... but to play along, Monk best and DH worst.
That's the spirit! To do the impossible, that sounds like a wonderful feat to attempt.

It's not impossible, it just won't be fun. You'll need to do it with a Monk or Barb for sure, using an ultra-tank build that can fight indefinitely without dying. Stack full armor/AR/LoH/life steal and do 10k DPS if that's what it takes.
To make this clear: I'm a huge fan of Roguelikes. Games that are brutally hard, and punish you even harder. I want to see difficulty, I want to die in normal my first time through - I love games like this. I want to spend months and months on this trying to get to the next level, then brutally fall back to the start when I mess up. I want to have to think when I play and not just charge in and hold right click. In short - I want to really feel like it was an achievment to mop up the floor with Diablo on inferno, striking my first hardcore full game clear. I want to be reminded of my grey bow no armor amazing HC run, when I fell face first into act 2 of nightmare.
I see this as fun. Kaizo Mario, Masochistic mario, these were a blast. Games like Ultima Online, Zettai Hero Project, etc. I'm looking forward to this challenge, just unsure what exactly to take it as.

Don't get me wrong -- I'm not saying not to try. To be clear, I think it will be perfectly possible, if annoying, to finish normal through hell at ML10 with no trading / buying of gear. You could just put on +xp gear and farm areas several levels below you without too much risk if you had to. The issue is that going from Hell A4 to Inferno A1 at MP 10 is made exceptionally difficult by the fact that MP 10 means something much different in Normal through Hell than it does in Inferno.
If A4 Hell and Inferno A1 (MP 10) mobs were the same level, the Inferno mobs would have about 8.6 times as many HP and do about 1.9 times as much damage as the Hell mobs. Now multiply those figures by the differences between level 60 and level 63 mobs. Since you only want to use gear you find yourself (which incidentally means you need iLvl 63 gear to get level 63 affixes since you're dealing with mLvl 60 mobs, and you can't get them on jewelry at all) and now you're looking at probably several years farming A4 Hell in order to progress, assuming there aren't any expansions or significant difficulty nerfs in the meantime.
All of the above being said, have a blast if that's your thing. I'd recommend from easiest (relatively speaking) to hardest, Monk > Barb > WD > Wizard > DH.

Wondering what class you guys think would be best, What class do you think would be worst?
Cheers.

Ahh, sorry. Fixed.

Though I do think Barbs and WD are better off at first, Monk catches up a bit further down the road and then never lets go.
