Not really applicable, you'd need to take in account the number of mobs you are hitting, how much dps you lose out of the swap, if the skills you are using actually make good use of that area hit, so on and so forth.
I'd say try to maintain at least 40% CC and get area damage from paragon points.
I feel you, when I saw my first green ring I almost screamed FUCK YEAH but I gathered myself before embarassing my WD with a ridiculously bad Compass Rose.
Bring back Invulnerable Minions! Used to have fits with my Monk way back when against those Act 2 hornets with Invulnerable Minions and Reflect Damage/Shielding/Arcane/Whatever. That was very hard, which made it fun.
But yeah, more and tougher affixes, but bring on some positive affix, maybe as a bonus 5th affix.
I would like they made attack speed more valuable to us. To not only showing increased paper dps but to actually work and increase our dps without us going oom in 3 sec.
Attack speed is nice when you use it with skills that benefit from it, such as Ghost Bomb. I have, between different equipment, 2.39 or 2.47 attack speed and If I can get more I will. And I also use Bears from time to time. Yes oom fast, but thats expected.
I like this dual mojo'ing idea. Would have to be reworked a bit but seems doable and reasonable.
Dunno if this is actually accurate, but I just bought this sword that has no elemental damage. d3up.com had it pegged as a 7k+ dps upgrade over my EF. When I equipped it, I noticed a 1.8k upgrade, and then realized the graphics on it. I have a couple of %elemental damage equipment so a black weapon should be effective.
At first I thougt 'been there, done that'. I've tried a ton of different builds, But you get used to playing a certain way and don't realize the potential of certain skills. Like Severance. SW to me is all about movement (Jaunt), healing (Healing Journey) or mana regen (Honored Spirit). I've never even thought about staying on top of a mob to get full damage from Severance. Umbral Shock I've tried and tested many times over.
Keep up the good work dude. Love trying out weird builds.
But I really like the kicks change. Had a ton of fun with it in early levels and was sorry to see it go when it got horrible in Inferno.
On the other hand, seems like they should have also lowered the spirit cost. Gearing toward it will just make a novelty build.
Even so. might just dust off my Monk and check shit out.
Since you've got Ghost Bomb, why not make it a beast with more attack speed? No need to get where I'm at (2.47) because I'm a speed freak, but getting 2.00+ would be nice.
You could also get Inna's Pants and switch those Lacuni's for better bracers. Ones with int/vit/cc/cd, maybe all res.
And think about a decent Echoing Fury for lower MPs, where the LS isn't as important. You can get very good ones for very cheap.
There is a lot you can do and advice will depend on playstyle... I myself went for Tal's amulet and chest for the attack speed and extra 3% on Ghost Bomb and Burning Dogs. Blackthorne's pants for EHP and Mempo for the huge dps.
As for skills, only one I don't use often is Vengeful Spirit. I find that maintaining Soul to Waste is very easy and will do more dps in the long run. Hex is awesome.

Stack fire dmg and attack speed, spam Firebomb.
Stack poison dmg+Carnevil build.
Stack poison dmg, spam Acid Cloud.
Stack cold dmg+Cold bears.
Stack cold dmg+Double damage DoT build.
Many many options, all of the really good ones extremely reliant on gear, aka that legendary that will change everything.

I've seen some reports that shadows from Haunt of Vaxo are also considered as pets, but I don't have Tasker&Theo yet to test this.

From the looks of it, I feel if you go below 40% CC and don't have %phys damage it won't be as effective as what you are running.
Also, dogs kinda suck. They get in the way of the real threats in Garg and fetishes.

So, hidden elemental damage or what?

That's pretty awful nevertheless
