Can anyone say super duper awesome? I mean, that was an amazing episode. And like, it had one of the coolest images I ever saw that I've never seen conceptualized in any video game or zombie show. Fucking zombies on a chain leash? Awesome! Just awesome! Their arms are cut off and I'm assuming their teeth are gone or something to keep the handler from being bit. And why weren't they freaking out wanting to eat some humans?
Ayyy I gotta wait for next season to find that out? It's gonna be a torture.
Anyone up for some conjecture on who the mysterious hooded zombie slayer is? And what's that building just through the trees? Looks like a prison to me. A great place to hole up assuming there aren't bad humans there.
But seriously, those zombies hooked up to chains being all docile...not even in all of D3's concepts have I ever seen something awesome like that. Maybe....wall of zombies. Maybe.
Some of those characters are just annoying to me! Like the boy... the chick who wanted to kill herself, the old man was cool to a point. I just keep watching because I'm just hoping it gets better. I think it started off really, really strong first season, first episode. I think it's really slipping.

"The Unchosen" Pain of Admirance Sigil (For those without -Feat of Strength-):
The kid is annoying, sure. But he's a child actor. Good non-annoying child actors are hard to find. And sure the characters are annoying sometimes. But people are annoying. And this show is about regular people thrown into extreme situations. I think you're wrong about it slipping though. I think it's only getting better. The finale was just incredible.
In australia, we're on season 1 .. last week was the episode where they go to that super secure lab with the lone doctor, who blows it up to stop all virus'/bacteria and shiznit let out. T19 was his wife, i was like. LAWL!!!! but yeah.. New episode tonight, 7 and 8 i think ;3 woopieeee
I think it does. At times it is slow, but seriously, in this situation there are times where there wouldn't be a lot to do. It would be unrealistic if they were constantly killing zombies. But if that's all you're into the show for rather than the interesting character development and group dynamic than it's really not the show for you.

So hard that they couldn't find one for this. I'm sorry man but the kid who plays Carl is not such a great actor. He constantly breaks the immersion for me with his lackluster performances. Aside from that, fantastic end to a great season. Only bad part is having to wait until fall for more, while ignoring spoilers all the while.
I find Carl to play his part quite well, but kids just aren't that interesting to me in most shows. He acts like a normal kid, which is what he should be acting like as far as I'm concerned.
I can ignore the kid. Maybe he could've been better, but he could've been worse. He's hardly a deal breaker for me. I also had a feeling everyone was infected with the zombie virus. When Shane saw the two cops earlier in the season and they didn't look bit or scratched, I figured it had to do something with what the guy said at the CDC.
I'm in Australia as well, that's a either a prison or military camp adapted from a villa or school by virtue of having watch towers it can't really be anything else.
Zombie shows always incorporate a prison, they are the best place to accessibly hunker down.
This is the only show worth watching til Game of Thrones comes back. Most of the shows with decent character interaction in an interesting backdrop disappeared after a couple of seasons from people with their non-thinking populist negative assessments.
I think the zombie slayer girl has those zombies as either some warding or masking device or as an indicator of which direction herds are migrating.
Kids are always going to be annoying at that age, and it's a Dewey Cox "The wrong kid died" scenario.
A key ingredient to this show is people doing stupid things and being unprepared/inept else it's going to get redundant quick if they all kit themself out in shark armor/ring mail/military garb, grab some Wakazashis/bolo machetes and just start cleaving every zombie in their path effortlessly.
The sense of danger would quickly disperse. As even the driving around constant headshotting in this episode seemed very far fetched.
Season 2 started really slow. The second half of the season is insane with zombies/deaths. The character development and how sincere they are to the reality that these people are as hopeless as can be is awesome. That assasins creed looking person? Cray.
If you read the comics you'll know who the hooded girl is.
Minor spoilers if you want to avoid....
Her name is Michonne and she's definitely one of the most bad-ass characters in the comic. The zombies she has chained are her boyfriend and his best friend. Their arms are removed as well as their lower jaws (to prevent from being bitten) and they're used to deter other walkers from noticing her.
The last shot you see in the season finale is the Prison, which has the Governor's gang there (the kid that was held prisoner at the Farm is part of this gang.) Needless to say, Season 3 is going to be awesome!
I just wish Andrea died in place of Dale. The kid's alright, but SHE is the annoying one (plays her character well though). I'm glad Shane isn't around any more because he just wasn't getting the message :/ Did he turn because of the knife having zombie blood on it?
EDIT: Oh, just read your post Saiy, so Shane turned cause he had it in him already.
The first half of season 2 was kinda bad because of the extremely slow pace and a few pointless episodes... But second half was EPIC. I never expect the walking dead to turn into such a great show !

Well if you didn't watch talking dead, you'll be happy to know that Kirkman said the pace for season 3 is going to be more akin to the last few episodes of season 2.
Best show on TV right now. Too bad we have to wait till fall for more episodes. What the hell is going on with TV shows nowadays?
Used to be 26 episodes per season. Now those lazy asses get away with 12. WTF?!

I like the final episode of Season 2.
