I just watched Rob Zombie's Halloween for the first time last night and it pissed me off. So i want to know what other movies you guys and gals think that should have not been made. They could be remakes or original. I do suggest you use well known movies cuz there is a crap load of low budget movies that should have never been made and is pointless to mention them. I'm going to start this off with the horror Trio... Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th.
Halloween: First off i love Zombie's music but I think that Zombie should not make movies. Zombie's Halloween might be more gory but the storyline was screwed up. It had no psycological effect on the viewers like the original did. Maybe if Zombie actually teamed up with Carpenter and made a sequal to the halloween movies instead of a remake then i would have a problem with it.
Nightmare on Elm Street: First i would like to say that i did and will not watch this movie. i grew up on the original and i say if Robert England isn't playing Freddy then its not A Nightmare movie. But from what i got from my sister, who did see it, the recently released nightmare movie completely changed the back story of Freddy...Spoiler...Freddy is now a child molester not a child killer before he gets burned.
Friday the 13th. I don't remember much about the new version of this movie because i think the movie like the other two are not worth remembering. The one thing i do remember is that Jason is the killer in the newer version and not his mother. like the Halloween movie it didn't have no psycological effect on the viewers.
I think that John Carpenter, Wes Craven, and who ever did Friday the 13th screwed up giving up the rights to these movies. I love gore in movies but some movies of old are still good without it. These new writers, directers, and producer should leave the classic movies be. Stop remaking movies and create your own. I say if you want to watch any of these movies first watch the originals. I'm pretty sure some people might disagree with me but remember this is just my opinion

My life is like a dragon, first praised, then hated, now lost.
All superhero movies. Except Iron man and Dark Knight.
First X-men and incredible hulk are ok. Could have been much better.
The rest of superhero movies are real dung. I'll try to list a few: X men 2 and 3. Wolverine. First hulk, 4 fantasti....etc...etc...
And also all parodies, except...eh...I no longer remember the decent ones actually. Such a big pile of garbage out there... Am sure there is one or maybe 2 I enjoyed. Nothing recent though. Oh ya- Hot Shots was awesome. Can't remember more right now.
And then one more movie- Avatar. Oh God, that was awful.
Now since I know quite a few people will throw major epileptic fits when reading this post, I need to state one thing- taste is subjective. Please do not feel the need to tell me why I should have enjoyed these movies because whatever you'll say won't change a thing about my opinion of said movies. Besides you'll be off-topic and we all know that's a fucking major crime punishable by death.
Nekro, from this point on I shall never regard your opinion as anything substantial. Visuals alone are case enough to be thankful for the film Avatar.
Yes, taste is subjective. And you happen to have the bad kind.

Are you serious you damn slut! You want a divorce just because I don't like your favorite movie?
How about the kids and the house? What will happen to those, eh?
See people? See how shitty that Avatar movie is? Bringing an end to a beautiful and happy life, just like that.
I don't think I could date someone who could not appreciate the visuals of that movie. That is just illogical to me. I don't date crazies with bad taste. And I especially don't marry them!!!
Anyway, movies that should not have been made: DBZ movie, all spiderman films, Curious George! Definitely the first Hulk...Terrible...The ring 2. The Grudge series. Scary Movie 2 3 4 5 6...Terminator 3 and 4.

Fucking hell! Now you are denying everything... In any case have it your way. Am taking the kids. I can't let them live under the influence of someone with bad enough taste to like Avatar.
Take the house and the DVD player, you bitch.
Back on topic, I remembered 2 other horrible movies-
Shooter- zomg, this was so stupid.
Wanted- oh this made shooter almost cool...
@OP. Dude, if you liked the original Nightmare on Elm Street so much, you could at least realize that it's Robert Englund, and not England. Moving on.
2012, The Core, Armageddon, and such movies. Anyone with half a brain, and anyone who knows enough science would know that half of the bullshit in such films is completely off, thus ruining the entire experience. Nukes in the core? explosions on a fucking asteroid? Yeah, right.
The Saw series. Yeah, the first 2, perhaps 3 were fun, but then...give me a FUCKING break! You can't seriously drag on the storyline that long and expect it to still be interesting. I seriously expect there to be Saw 26 sometime in the future. Movies like Scream are what really rock..you know when to end it..it's a trilogy, and that's that. They could have gone for Scream 5, and people would have still went and watched it, but it would have fucked the entire series up.
The Blair Witch Project 2. Completely ruined the first one by going completely into mainstream horror movie-making, straying FAR behind the pretty rad first movie. Completely ruined it, I expected so much more.
Paranormal Activity. Anyone who says that this was a good/intriguing/scary/remotely intelligent movie, is fucking mental. It was so boring, I was scared of fucking cardiac arrest. That's the only scary thing about it..that and actually gathering the will to commit suicide because it was such a godawful movie. I'm gonna torch the theaters once they release the sequel.
Blood Rayne: Wow, what a shitty movie adaptation. The games were awesome, but the movie....wow. The only good thing was the scene with the titty action. Corny dialogue, atrocious everything else.
Avatar: Basically a sugar coated version of Pocahontas. No thanks.
Hannah Montana the Movie: No comment.
The latest Halloween..Halloween 2 I think: WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?! Visions of his mommy telling him to kill? No fucking way in hell is he coming back after his sister stabbed him like..20 times in the frikkin' face. Good luck with the sequel, you idiots.
@mephisto First sorry never actually saw how Robert Englund spelled his name but thanks for correcting me. Second scream didn't rock by me Scream is a chick flick horror.
to all who mentioned that Avitar was crap... i always wanted to hear that movie flop. to bad it still made a crap load of money.

I'll second the third X-Men, but I enjoyed 1 ad 2 just fine. They just butchered the Dark Pheonix story in 3.
I'd also like to throw in 2nd and 3rd Matrix films. The first one was fun, 2 and 3 made me sleepy.
As for movies that have already been listed that I enjoyed:
Avatar-not as great as the hype, but still enjoyable. Better than I expected at least.
Spider Man and most other superhero movies- They are junk in a sense, but enjoyable junk for at least the first watch.
various parodies- not all are bad. For example, Space Balls is a classic. But if you just meant the series like Scary Movie and Date Movie then I agree, pretty much all junk.
I don't think I could date someone who could not appreciate the visuals of that movie. That is just illogical to me. I don't date crazies with bad taste. And I especially don't marry them!!!

I loved avatar... specially the visuals... do you wanna have drink or something?? maybe go to the movies?
Avatar: Basically a sugar coated version of Pocahontas. No thanks.
Might be the first time we actually agree on something. While I think the graphic splendor - and the 3D - was probably worth my $12, the story is literally the story of Pocahontas.

I know... I was agreeing with him. Not everyone might have seen it the other time and, since he didn't re-post it in this thread, I felt it was pertinent.
Hey Jetrall, we should make a movie about our forum relationship. The premise would be something like..
When the Jew and the Muslim first met, the innate desire to bomb/suicide bomb each other was burning inside them. Through time, however, a spark of love and friendship ignited between the two, and they both agreed on saying that Avatar sucks, and is actually a glorified version of Pocahontas. As Armageddon came, they died hand in hand trying to kill Israelis, and Palestinians in their mega robot, named Jetrall's Lament.
I liked it, but that's because I acquired it in... less legal ways, and thus the sound sucked so I turned it off.
The movie was great that way, pretty effects.

"Like what?"
"Oh, I don't know..."
*earthquake splits the floor in half between them*
Sometimes they are so bad they become funny.
Eg: Zombie Strippers
Understandable but... tsk tsk!
I had no idea. I saw a pair in one of the Resident Evil movies and new it was a trap. Too good to be true.
