95% of people are happy with Diablo III and are in-game and playing.
5% of people are unhappy with Diablo III and are here at the forums and complaining.
When something works for you, you enjoy it. When it doesn't, you whine about it. That sums up the situation.
95%? I'd love to see those figures... Game went from having 20k+ in public games to less than 2k in what feels like overnight.
Perhaps because more people have caught on to the fact that public games are full of AFKers, trolls, and bewilderingly dumb players that die often for no good reason.

Looking at my friends list now only 1 is actually in a game. The rest are scanning the AH making money (far more efficent on the AH then actually attempting to find something worth selling in game) or praying to find a sensible upgrade that doesn't cost 4237850230523 gold.
Don't play WoW, people do it all the time (making money off the AH). You can't control what people sell items for so tell your friends to farm gear if they really want it that badly.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
Diablo has been vanquished and I've thoroughly absorbed the story. Not too bad if you ask me, but I always like the idea of gods being useless compared to mortals.
Addendum: Made it to level 31 on the full clear, which included most every monster in each zone (I got a little rushed in act2, not terribly fond of those leaping monsters). I'm not sure how nightmare is going to treat me in my rag-tag gear, but I look forward to the challenge as I only died once thus far and it was due to going afk.
Thoughts on the WD are as follows:
-Incredibly strong in normal, but I can already see the pets (esp dogs) falling off hard later. Even with Jungle+Zombie Handler their durability is depressing. Large minions with aoe dmg can 2-shot the dogs in normal mode, I hesitate to think of what later difficulties will do.
-Poison Dart is great and the spell grew on me out of necessity. There's really nothing to replace it with that isn't a mana hog or incredibly hard to aim. Still swapping between a lot of secondary spells to see what's worth using, but acid rain, fire pit, and grasp all did fine to support dart spam.
-Spirit walk is so nice, I think another class would get me killed a lot. Spirit walk + life leeching soul harvest... well, you get the picture.
LOL Prol....I remember when I used to swear you were some hipster teenager. I also have no idea what's going on around here these days. Most threads I see are trading threads and what not. Like even now I just skimmed this thread you created to get to the end of it. And I'm sorry you had a stroke. You a smoker?
I was a little bent on playing through the story all at once, so normal in one day was inevitable unless I had another medical complication. You'll be glad to know that since then I have only just got to act2 in nightmare. I'm taking my time and looking for the few little events I missed, one lore tome apparently snuck by me.
Siay, oh to be young! I agree with your asessment of the forums these days and it is somewhat depressing. I may have to necro ye old religion thread to get people raging at someone other than blizzard. As for the stroke, I am not a smoker, nor did my doctor think I was a significant risk after the fact. It was just a bit of a genetic fluke plus my age. I'm getting physical therapy a few days a week, but no medication otherwise. They're hinting at putting me on some kind of diet, but I already eat mostly fruits and vegetables so I can't imagine what they would recommend. Perhaps I'm not getting my daily value of trans fat and corn sugar. >D
Us whiney teenagers (20 still counts as a teen since I'm unable to buy alcohol :P) make up a vital part of this community! Without us, there would be lots more public games due to people actually being nice and playing as a team. Nobody plays a video game to relax and escape reality, everybody knows the whole point of buying a game is to grief others and ruin everyone elses good time.
Oh wait... I think I may have messed that up a bit.

This is fucking dead on. Can we make a 1% of people who enjoy the game but are working so they cant play and thus are browsing the forums.

Time to put the mouse down and get some rest.
There are at least a dozen other threads for that stuff.
On to nightmare:D

Well yeah I guess anyone could have the genetic predisposition toward a stroke. Just glad you're feeling better man. Six months? Seriously?
