If there's one thing I've learned after years (literally) of online gaming it is that you must EXPECT that people will behave in a totally rotten manner for the most ridiculous reasons. Furthermore you should NEVER take it personal. They know nothing about you and they are the ones who are in error, not you.

I use the amethyst in my helm, although it's slower leveling it reduces the amount of deaths in act 3 to zero. Without it I may die 5-10 times depending on luck with champ packs and those fallen lunatics or whatever they are called. I definitely agree with the weapon affects though, it would be nice to see something other than emeralds viable.
I tried to sell the same exact Superior Hellion Crossbow that someone had posted for 20,000,000,000... Priced mine at only 20,000,000 and it still didn't sell! Although it is of normal quality, I was kind of hoping I could make a decent amount of gold off of it.
Us whiney teenagers (20 still counts as a teen since I'm unable to buy alcohol :P) make up a vital part of this community! Without us, there would be lots more public games due to people actually being nice and playing as a team. Nobody plays a video game to relax and escape reality, everybody knows the whole point of buying a game is to grief others and ruin everyone elses good time.

Not exactly sure what it's worth due to the final affix (spectral blade damage) being not that great. I'm selling it for a friend, and he was looking to get 10m out of it.
These videos are great, thank you. I have Act I down to where I can just steam roll everything, but tried Act II and get absolutely destroyed... Definitely will try this build with more vit and less str to get Act II down.
With my schedule, I managed to hit every maintenance/crash on release day. Today was 1000 times better though, got to play for quite a few hours, only a few lag spikes here and there but no DCs or error 70whatever trying to log in.
Like any other huge title! (also all of the wow expansions and the game itself)... no point for all you kids to whine about it! And I bet that even if you whine, you'll still grind mindlessly until both physically and mentally exhausted!

Well actually what pisses me off is I actually work, and having the servers down for over 75% of the time I am able to play is quite upsetting. Of course I will still play the game, because it is simply amazing. Just wish they could have handled this better seeing as how it took them to actually release the game.

Ofcourse it is upsetting, but flaming the whole game just because of a laggy launch? That's plainly bashing the game without a reason. No wonder D3 has ~ 4/10 rating on metacritic(dot)com

And the game isn't being bashed, Blizzard is. And to say they, as in Blizzard, not Diablo III, are being bashed without reason is very ignorant. It took them this long to release the game, they should have been prepaired.

Servers failed right off the bat, spent 45 minutes trying to log in for the midnight launch, just to sit at the character creation page. So I gave up and tried again today, got to play for one solid hour before servers went down again. To say I am disappointed would be an extreme understatement.
So anticipation reached a fever pitch at 12 AM PDT, only to leave most of us spamming our passwords for an hour. Once we made it through the Act 0 challenge, though, most of us have had a few hours at the least to play past the Beta content we already knew and see a few deaths

He was talking about rares I think, which he is correct. It is not possible for +exp on kill to roll on an iLvl 61 or higher rare item.
