Is this a good deal? I am looking for a new laptop to run D3 on but do not want to spend any more than 600, in fact would love to spend less. Let me know, thanks guys!
sCroll down for other option I am considering, thanks for your help!
Can you even buy one that cheap? I just paid $570 for a GeForce 680 GTX for my PC, so I figured that overpriced Alienware's wouldn't ever be under $1500. If you can get one for $600, do it.

In beta I could run everything at max with 1920x1080 resolution on a Radeon HD 4850 with 50-60 FPS, and since you don't have a first person view even 30 is going to feel totally smooth since you can't suddenly turn your head fast or anything like that.

Thanks for the heads up. Yeah a lucky deal someone bought a super gaming rig for D3....unsure why, I guess the only drawback is the small screen. More opinions on this the better. Or if someone has a laptop, must be laptop, that I could buy for at/under this which would be better.
It shows FPS to expect at different settings in different games.
You should also check the MX11's graphics card on that site. Compare with games like Skyrim and Starcraft 2, maybe CoD:Black Ops. If you can get 45-60 FPS you're allright.
You gotta check the specs on it, MX11 has been around for a while with lots of different specs on it.
Other then that there are plenty of decent gaming laptops to be had in that price range which you can get new with 15,6" screens. For instance with this graphics card: http://www.notebookc...0M.69483.0.html

Nah, I live in Norway so prices and stores are different here from the US. That said there are always bargains available in the ~600$ area.
1. CPU doesn't matter much, they're all generally good enough to run the game on laptops in this price range.
2. Ram, all laptops are likely to have at least 4-6 GB, that's plenty. Wouldn't buy with less then this though.
3. Graphics card, this is the importaint one! But if you check it up against Tom's hardware list and notebookreview list you're golden. You can also check CPU's up at notebookreview! You're looking for a graphics card that can manage at least 45-50 FPS in Starcraft 2 medium and ~35 in Skyrim. Of course you should check some different ones in your price range. More is better, less then that is unacceptable.
Other then that you just look for the one who has the best harddrive, extra ram, bigger screen or whatever else.
So it's not really all that complicated. Not even a professional is able to keep up with every single piece of hardware that comes out so checking these kinds of reference lists is essential.

Need more info. What are the actual specifications?

I've had the worst experiences with them in terms of quality. The hardware made it look like Dell and HP supplied top-of-the-line components in comparison. I'd rather buy a Gateway than an Acer if I had to choose, and that's why I'm terrified of them lol.
I had an Acer with an i5 and a 5650m, I kept it for a year then sold it. It's still running fine for my friend who bought it. The only thing I did't like about it was the keyboard area flexes pretty bad. It's not a major issue, just built out of cheap plastic to cut costs.

I'd reccomend reading this guide:

Along with checking the graphics card used in the MX11 at this list:

It should give you a solid answer to the question you're asking.
That said, an 11" screen is tiny! I would not want to play at anything smaller then 15".

That one looks better, and its cheaper.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
Thank you. I will be going new I guess. One other option I think may be better.

I'd definitely go for the second one. 17,3" screen and i5 CPU is worth the extra $50.
