After Halls of Agony level 2 was nerfed, we all needed a new route to farm goblins for treasure realm. So this is a good farming route atm, The Core of Areat, goblin per hour is really good. I have done 68 runs and in 26 of them I have found goblins. Iw we consider they are doubled atm, it's really not that bad.
What is your ratio in Core of areat? And are there more efficient areas to farm that I don't know of?
I have four people split farming T6 Tower of the Damned 1-2 (player 1), Cursed 1-2 (player 2), Core port to Arreat 2 backwards through Heart of the Damned to meet with player 1 (player 3), Rakkis/Stonefort (player 4). Whoever finishes their level first assists another. Smoke any goblins you see because the portal is accessible as long as you're in the same game. No need to be on the same map.
Best run for my group at one point was two portals in half an hour, but we know it's all just RNG.

Yea, small maps without too many dead ends are the best now, if we consider no map gives 100% chance now. Gotta try that route out.
Since your own video says it has been "stealth" nerfed, I'll add that information to the title. So that nobody thinks this is still "the best" way of farming goblins. I've spawned 3 packs of Goblins in a row at Weeping Hollow while doing T1 bounties the other day (6 Goblins each run), but I know it's all RNG.

me and my friends find that about 90% of the time if one goes HOA2 and one goes core or areat you will find Goblins in 1 of the 2 sometimes both...and they both clear in about the same time

I agree, but so many people are screaming about not working, because they have bad luck sometimes and give up after 5 tries. I will still farm this area because for a solo monk, it is absolutely the best result for time spent, at least with goblins in pairs event.
Havn't gotten my boon of the hoarder yet as I havnt farmed goblins (just been doing grifts mainly). Looks like I missed out on the good areas. Whats the best method now? Still HoA2 and Core?
i still run HOA2 and core and personally i would say about 75-80% of the time theres a goblin in atleast 1 of the 2 areas. and to clear both only takes about 2 minutes... i also have really good luck at the portal spawning useally kill about 14-20 goblins and one spawns...the problem is people go in run it 5 times and give up...it's a RNG it means sometimes your going to have bad luck...i've tried just about everywhere...while the random spawned caves and crypts useally have goblins the problem is there random and you spend more time trying to find them rather then kill goblins
Been running core and HOA2 and northern highlands for maybe four hours now, found 1 goblin in both core and HOA2 each in all that time. Found loads in northern highlands.
RNG and all that, but core and HOA2 seem to be awful.
Got a portal last night on battlefields(?) the zone before the bridges. Also farmed in the core area after the bridges down towards Azmodan and I saw and killed many goblins, on lightning monk. I agree this is a great area for a solo monk.
I run Core/HoA2/ToD/NHigh. I find a decent amount of goblins in each. I can do T6, but that typically requires me to clear the area. So I lower it to T4 and I can mostly ignore the mobs around the goblins. So I can run with more "speed". I have no concrete math, but having to clear T6 mobs to get less Goblins per hour seems less beneficial than running on a T you can ignore everything (for the most part).

And may the odds be ever in your favour.
