You could make it so I wouldn't see it, but I can see your gear is not what you are actually wearing. Which is equivalent to seeing you change the appearance of your monsters.
By the way you can't just call me a troll because you tried to point out a mistake on my part in understanding the mechanics of said suggestion, that would just be a perfectly serious mistake, but I didn't make any mistakes, my point is completely valid.
You want to have a discussion but at least 1/3rd of the posts in this thread are your own. You cannot have a discussion when you are being so dominating. You haven't added anything new to this thread since you made the original post, you just keep repeating the same shit over and over again.
We get that you hate the idea that someone might make their Mempo look like Andariel's and that you couldn't instantly judge the power of the character by looking at their avatar. Saying it 25 times in a thread doesn't help though. You've made your point. If you've got nothing new then it's best you move on because ranting in this thread about the other thread getting locked may result in more moderation.
K my perfectly valid post got locked for trolling, but it's a valid suggestion or philosophy of the transmoging lovers:
No, your thread was a troll thread. The way you stated your "comparison" here is not trolling. Read both again and see the difference - one is violating forum rules, this one isn't.
To respond to your comparison:
If you don't like a monster's look, you can choose to not go into the area that monster lives in. If you don't like an act's layout, you can go to a different act. There are no loot tables. For example, except for the keys I actually ignored act 2 (and even if I went there, I avoided areas with annoying wasps). Yeah, if they'd allow transmog I'd turn them into something else, of course! But for the time being, I can go to 3 different acts or many other areas where they aren't, doesn't change my game experience or loot probability.
The difference to items is that I can't simply not wear an item if I don't like the look. Imagine not wearing Vile Ward (pre-1.07) just because of the design... you'd gimp yourself so much. The same in RoS if you are on a Hydra build, but say no to a Serpent's Sparker because of the design.
And as shaggy said... in a healthy discussion, it's good style to 1) respect others' opinions and 2) don't respond with sarcasm or provocations. You're about to kill your own thread.

Your point is valid...
... but that won't make people agree with it. Or even like it.
Sometimes you can't change people's mind, trust me. And in this particular subject people like the possibility of adjusting their looks every now and then. And there are more people happy about the current transmog system than against it, so there you have it. Blizzard probably won't change it.
I can accept their opinions but when it's obvious they're missing a key component to why items aren't diverse in the first place makes it completely unnecessary to need to transmog, while itself actual affects a specific aspect of the game.
The problem with monsters like I stated is not anything to do with their location but rather being forced to see a certain monster. However, if I had to play Naphalem Rifts I would effectively be forced to see certain monsters unless I do not participate in it's random nature. So, the point rather is, that you should not be able to see something that is not what's in it's actual place if it's unique. I do not want to see players with items they are not wearing. I don't want to see monsters that are not as they actually are in terms of their special ability/uniqueness, likewise with the special ability/uniqueness of specific items.
It's not something they can't change, it's still in development, the game itself is. It doesn't completely remove the functionality, I am suggesting that they don't allow uniques to be transmoged, while normal items can still be, to the 1-70 tier sets. Repeat, just not uniques.
Don't play with players, then you won't get offended with your... twisted logic. You are the first person I've ever seen complain about transmogrify in this aspect. The only legitimate reason that it could create an issue is in competitive PvP and you’re trying to figure out what you’re up against. TBH I don't even pay attention to what other people look like I'm too busy killing stuff.
At least you're giving me a laugh, not many posts going on in the fourms right now and I need to kill thirty more minutes.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
And I am simply reiterating myself, with an attempt at a fresh way to get the point across, because every time I get the same invalid argument back. So I assumed they could not understand.
You can't force me to play by myself. That's juse twisted.
I can accept their opinions but when it's obvious they're missing a key component to why items aren't diverse in the first place makes it completely unnecessary to need to transmog, while itself actual affects a specific aspect of the game.
We actually disagree about what a key component of items are. For me, the key component of an item in Diablo are its stats. Visuals are side effects, since I'm not showing off my gear to anyone. It's a non-competitive game, the main aspect is PvE, and the opponent (computer) doesn't care what I look like. (Which is 5/6 of my wizard's items are Vanish'd). Look/stats of items in Diablo for me is 90%/10%; I don't care so much for the look as long as it isn't annoying. I never cared about the look of any item in D2, and I didn't in D3 pre-Inferno, just some endgame legendaries are ugly as hell (and I'm forced to look at them all the time).
The problem with monsters like I stated is not anything to do with their location but rather being forced to see a certain monster. However, if I had to play Naphalem Rifts I would effectively be forced to see certain monsters unless I do not participate in it's random nature. Your point is valid, actually, and I agree. Like I said, if I could transmog monsters, I'd get rid of wasps. For the time being, they only implemented transmog for items... I'll take that, but it's not an argument to say "if you can't transmog monsters, don't let us transmog items either".
Maybe in the future they'll introduce some kind of Nephalem Rifts were you can influence the layout/monsters of that level, against some extra payment? Who knows.
No when you transmog the monster it would still do the same effect it does... So a Wasp as a Phasing Beast and you will see the beast run around and shoot little wasps at you... You don't get it, that's the problem, I don't wanna see people with stuff they aren't wearing with effects of another unique. Especially when they make no sense at all...
And I love that you say visuals are side effects when you're for Transmog, Transmog is for people that love visuals and will only accept one visual they prefer, but the same argument I made, if you love one look so much, when all uniques are equally good and unique, you should be glad to use that unique as it is, looking exactly the way you do and still be as powerful as anyone else with other uniques.
You guys are making so many more arguments that give me a chance to explain why it is completely invalid, I wish Blizzard would see this and realize how right I am. You guys might all think I am some kind of random guy that just hates Transmog so much for no reason, but I have valid ideas, I was the one that got Blizzard to work on Itemization. I had a forum post with like 16k views and 600 posts with multiple Blizzard posts saying they are acknowledging 'Itemization' for the first time publicly.
At first the post got hated on because I stirred a lot of people's hate, just hate on the 'sincere hater', because they are too radical for their liking, but then it turned out Blizzard actually acted through that because it go so much attention and was so valid.
It would bring an element of challenge, everything looking like a terd not knowing what it is, suddenly I'm one shotted realizing that small terd was a key warden!
Provide a link of the post you started. It's hard to believe you and only you realized how bad itemization was in this game... you must be some kind of superior form of life.

Why can't you wait? Is it because you probably have billions looking at your gear, and you can easily afford to find level 70 uniques that are exactly like the way you like looking but are just as useful since all uniques are equally awesome? Is that why? Oh, well actually, there's no point for Transmog then.
[...] however, the main issue resides with devaluing the visual dignity of unique items that have special abilities [...]
See, that's exactly the point. In my opinion, Mempo of Twilight is the ugliest of all helmets in the game. It has no "visual dignity" in my opinion. But it is the best helmet in the game (stats-wise), which is why I want to have it. The value of these powerful items is undermined by their visual appearance, which is why I see no reason to "preserve and protect" their look.
Couldn't agree more, transmog should work on everything, otherwise they might as well scrap it, the whole point of it is to change the look of wtv thing you don't like and allow more customization, besides why would the look of others change the way you play?
Keep the originals look if u want to preserve their originality, but do not force it unto others.
You can change the look of everything, but not all looks are available to you.
If it looks like a Mempo, it should be a Mempo; which doesn't mean that all Mempos have to look like a Mempo.
See the difference?
That way transmog still sucks since i can't use a black robe (blackthorne's on wiz) if i have pink tal'rasha, besides we all know set's and legendaries look alot better than rares so it's pointless to introduce transmog and do not allow full customization...
Besides, it's an option to transmog or not, and on top of that one will only be able to transmog wtv item he has id'ed already so i think that's the best aproach, but again, opinions are opinions and if blizz is really working with the players feedback it will most likely stay as it is currently.

What you can do is find a Blackthorne's after Loot 2.0 (Itemization link in my signature) and it will be just as good if not better than your current Tal-Rasha's. Trust me. That means you don't even need Transmog!
The only side effect is that you cannot just go to Transmog and pick through outfits like they're WORTHLESS and completely ARBITRAY, and instead you have to EARN the piece you love the most with HARDWORK and you will ENJOY it so much more and it WILL be MUCH better than your Tal-Rasha's that you hate SO much. But hey, you MIGHT actually LIKE it if you could dye it ANOTHER COLOR instead of purple/pink, WHO knows?
This is a REALLY dumb thread. Why on EARTH does it effect your ability to have fun playing a game if I change the appearance of my gear to look the way I want to?
Answer the question, would you let other players change the appearance of the monsters you see to what they want? If not, then it's the same thing with items to me.
By the way you can't just call me a troll because you tried to point out a mistake on my part in understanding the mechanics of said suggestion, that would just be a perfectly serious mistake, but I didn't make any mistakes, my point is completely valid.
