Oct 25, 2011Ethezial posted a message on Release Date or Release Fake?I've been looking over at this for the past few days, and I'm more inclined to believe it is real. And even because the post is so old some of that information would have become out of date now which is why it probably wasn't known at the time about the delay since not even Blizzard knew then. It was a recent discussion/decision was it not? The date on there could change anyway given Blizzard's track record. So even though I believe it's real, I'm not going to put my money on that exact date. But if it does come out that day I won't be surprised either. Anywho, I agree with both Novalith & Robotparadise.Posted in: News

Yeah I knew it had changed I was just pointing something out. I kind of figured that's what the button did. I just thought it was funny the way they originally designed the button.Quote from Don_guillotine

Ok, I have a question. Anyone who played the demo, does anyone know what the button in the top right corner by the map does? Does it bring up the local map or does no one know it's function yet?
I was looking at the old version and the button looks exactly like a tiny globe. I was thinking maybe that button brings up a world map?
Just a thought, I could totally be wrong, it was just an observation. (=
First of all, the button was changed from a globe into what it looks in the latest revision (a sort of opened scroll).
As far as I know, it opens the Local Map. However, it would make logically sense that were there to be a World Map, it would be accessed through the same button.
The way it was designed before, you would naturally think it to bring up a world map, not a local one. Maybe that's a hint that they are doing a world map? Or maybe that's why they changed the button. -

I was going to say the exact same thing. Although the D3 version looks much cooler IMO.Quote from Airandius
Who else remembered the somewhat same creature in Dungeon Siege 2?
A guy that picks up gear and drops gear if you hurt it, but it was extremely fast and hard to hit.
Seems they share the same concept.

Maybe just a coincidence, but was cool to see nonetheless.

I think they're fine as is.
The monsters in the "Kill 100 monsters" ones themselves give extremely high amounts of exp and spawn a lot of enemies. This was easily exploited for the Cursed Chest in A1 HoA 3. You just get the checkpoint for the entrance, check for the chest, rinse and repeat with a group. Each person would make their own game and the person that found it would invite the others. Grab a Monk with Cyclone Strike to suck all of the enemies in, and voila. Some of the people I'm in clan with gained more than 20 levels last night, just within a few hours time. And my low paragon friend went from 1 to 50.

And with the redesign of Dashing Strike on the Monk, I feel like they really need to work on Teleport.

It would be a good idea to keep at least a good bit of your crafting mats if you want to level up a crusader, you'll be able to craft him gear.

3. Besides Act V's completely random layouts, I do not believe so.
4. Yes, although boss encounters show a brief pause where cutscenes would be (the game seems to mute dialogue and automatically skip them).
