Hey guys, haven't really been active recently. No need to go on about my personal life but I've still been lurking and checking out the news. Excited about the final release but wanted to know a few things;
I didn't bother pre-ordering it yet though I might a week or so before the release, I rather not shell out the money I don't have 3 months in advance for something that I won't get until, well 3 months later especially without any incentive or what not (other games give out bonus content or features or whatnot for example).
But more importantly, if I order the digital version from Blizz directly (as to get the game immediately on release day/night) can I still receive a physical copy, box and Cd and all without actually ordering a new one? Also now that I mentioned it, IS there any bonus to pre-ordering the game?
Thanks

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
No, when you order a digital copy you only get the game attached to your battle.net account. Then you can install it using the said account from any computer you choose to use.
Unless you want to spend twice the amount, then you only need to buy the digital copy or pre-order a physical copy. Personally I'd just get the digital copy and save a drive to the store and a wait, unless you want the physical box.
Also there is no extra gained from preordering. The only extras you can get are from the Collector's Edition.
A physical copy is just a worthless cardboard box and a 10 cent dvd.

Ok anyone can tell me if this is possible: I live in EU ,so is it possible for me to register bnet US account and buy digitally the game on my US bnet, with EU credit card?

i'd put in a call to blizz's customer service department, tbh.

Basically I want it ASAP yet would like a physical copy just in case or just to have the CD. Some people say that it is cheaper to get a physical copy? That doesn't hurt, I am in US, Ny to be precise. Does anyone know where I can get it for cheaper?

I mean you have to chose at some point:
1. Digital guarantees you will play as soon as the server are available.
2. If you manage to get a physical copy before the server opening, then you offset this advantage. You have to bet for server unstability, your retailer being generous etc for this to happen. There is a lot more randomness involved and no guarantee it will happen.
3. Physical is less expansive since retailers offer discounts on it. The digital version is distributed byBlizzard at full price. On the other hand 100% of your 60$ goes to Blizzard instead of 40$ to them and 10$ to the retailer (random numbers).
4. Getting a box and a CD or not is a very personal choice. Me I don't care, I throw away boxes and pile my DvDs. But other people like having boxes they can put on shelves.
So basicly:
- Does 50 or 60$ is a big difference ?
- How much do you balance guaranteed play asap vs physical box ?
You can find the physical edition for cheaper some places, I think it's nicer that you get 'stuff' with it. But, what I don't like is that the digital copy is the same msrp. I think that's just out right offensive, the developers get a bigger share anyways.
I got 3 copies for a couple of friends and my wife at newegg for $50. Got the CE for myself from Amazon. The newegg copies come 3 days after release, I dun care, they're presents. The CE comes the day of, and my friend will text me the code to me cause I'm in Korea right now, I'll have to wake up like 6am and get to play for 2 hours before work.
