I totally understand your point of view. I mean, obviously the moment somebody paints naked bodies it is for cash and not self expression.
For example, I've heard of this douche who painted some thing called the Sistine Chapel - man, that guy went totally commercial there. Naked booty and boobs everywhere. EVERYWHERE! The abomination.
Those damn ninja turtles...
edit:
A bit not nice of me to reply the way I did so I'll try to explain myself.
I did not draw the last page hoping it'll be sexy enough to draw crowds upon crowds of readers upon my comic, and through them and my characters naked rear I shall rule the world with an iron fist and tight buttocks. I drew what I drew because that was what I wanted to draw.
I use foul language in my comics because that is how I talk, think and feel. I will use vulgarities, some nudity (even though it's censored) and stuff like those not because I want to appeal to the masses, but because this is what I am like in real life and if I would not be doing this comic to express myself I would not be doing this at all. Trust me, I'm not quitting my day job to draw comics (even though that would be sooooo cool).
So if you were put off I'm sorry, but I feel that censoring myself to cater to the whims of others in my own creation would be hypocritical of me, and would take out all the fun I have from creating this.
I'm actually feeling kinda bad posting about it here cause the comic navigated from diablo to other games so... if an administrator will tell me to stop it i'll totally understand.
Ladies and gentlemen, barbs and amazons - I got a new strip *jumps up and down with excitement*. And it has bubblez and stuff!
Unlike with my previous strip, I'm totally confident about posting it here. It's about The Book of Cain (I've already preordered it btw... can't wait), and it's going to set up the future plot line which will also be about diablo. Even though I do plan to do one strip not related to the characters, and it'll be about Batman: Arkham City ( I love that game! )
Allrighty then... I... I ... I have a new comic strip. I'm even on schedule of less than one week for a page (I'm really proud of that, I suck at dead lines).
It's about me successfully being in the beta... NOT!
So if you'd be nice enough and see what I'm talking about here - here's the new page:
Goggle had frozen my AdSense account (no idea why) so if you see blank pages instead of commercials, it's not cause I can't plan a website, it's Googles fault. Really... it is
Well... I've hit a new record. Three days for a new page. I don't know if I can keep up this pace since I've got a big test coming up but atleast I'm setting the bar high for me.
The next page is by far the most diablo-ish one I've ever made, even if the text itself isn't
I've also worked really hard to notch up the artwork in this page, and I feel I've had some decent improvement in that area. I do remain unsatisfied with my work but atleast I know I'm improving... that got to count for something, right? Right?! O.o
Aaaanyhow... with no longer adue... here comes the new page:
And it's Bad Example, by a nose! (Horce racing... who'd knew it'd be so exciting, right?)
A really smart book once told me - "The one more important thing than deciding on a schedule for your webcomic, is keeping it". And boy, had it NOT been easy.
Long story short, I'm in a tight studying period where I need to study ALOT, in a short time. This is due to me being lazy and not studying when I should, so now I have to catch up.
So now my job and my studies have taken over all the aspects of my life. And just like japanese octopus having his way with an animated young lady - they didn't leave much room for anything else!
My workout schedule had gone to the gutters, I barely spend time with my girlfriend (even though we did play a Might and Magic Heroes VI hotseat map together, and we won!), and I think I have like... three weeks of laundry to do.
Now - my previous page took only 3 days to update, this time without me even noticing six days had gone by and I had almost done nothing, except the initial pencils and some tracing. Obviously, that wasn't good.
However... despite such harsh times I did do a page, and I really like how it turned out - especially the zombies
So if you want to check it out - here's the new page:
My next project is adding an archive to my website but... that's still a few days to go. Meanwhile I hope you enjoy this update and give me feedback on what do you think.
Pretty boring and uncreative humor. Not funny at all. Pretty lackluster attempt at emulating GUcomics and not even half as entertaining.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
"When men are most sure and arrogant, they are commonly the most mistaken, and have then given views to passion, without that proper deliberation and suspense which can alone secure them from the grossest absurdities"
Hehehe, thnx alots
Call me old fashioned, but I was put off.

Well, first I drew it by hand (I draw with pencils).
Then I scanned it, and from there it's all tracing, coloring and bubbling (text bubbles) in photoshop.
And as a minor update, I've also added a shoutbox to the website.
Wasn't easy but heck, I had some time to kill

To each his own I guess, though to be honest - never read GUcomics, so I really didn't try to emulate anyone. It's all me.
So far there were more people who liked it than not so... I guess you won't be a recurring reader then.
Oh well...
