Quote from Uldyssian
All this constant delay news has taken the fun out the anticipation. I am gonna be like a kid with excitement when I install the game but right now I am just grumpy and getting a twitch in my eye from all this nonsense. I mean damn... it's a computer game.. not a law being passed. I don't think the issues in SK are affecting the overall release but I feel for those who live in South Korea and are excited to play Diablo 3 having to deal with the bureaucracy of a games rating board... essh...

Always nice to hear if so.
If there is one thing Blizzard does one really well, it's making videos

And simply "Having it there as an option" wouldn't hurt anyone.
It's 8 directions, sure. But you can still click any other angle with the mouse. And you click with the mouse to attack. (or walk, if you choose to do so)
Really though, the more options the better.
You can use ASDW quite easily (we've been doing it for a generation and a half using NES and SNES controllers, even modern day playstation controllers still have the 4 point controls). Which is why a hybrid control would be so much better than "just the mouse".
You can move around with ASDW for ease of access, less mouse clicks, less RSI.
Then when you get into combat, you use the mouse to aim and click any angle just like normal.
Of course, people will fear it because it'd be new and different, but you'd still be able to play "just with the mouse" if you so choose to.
You'd just allow different playstyles for those who wish it - and in all likelyhood, hybrid controls will outperform those focused solely on the mouse and 1-2-3-4-5 for skills.
It's how we play WoW, and that's a 360 degree game as well. Would a 2D topdown game really be "that much" different, that we suddenly need a mouse to be able to play in 360 degrees? Surely not.

Click to move is ok, but personally I think being able to contol your character with mouse AND keyboard will make for a much better experience for the more adept players than "just the mouse".

I hated that aspect... i dont want to keep around white/gray items in the off-chance that you "might"need them for a runeword later.
It completely de-logicifies the quality = value aspect of loot.
some junk gray items could be worth three times as much as a unique in D2... thats really annoying as it means you have to pick up every single item in the off-chance that it might be worth something, rather than be able to tell whether its worth
* walking over there
* picking it up
* evaluating the item
* keeping it around to trade later
total waste of time and space.

I guess it's a way to promote people to try out all the classes and get the extra achievements?

Either we use the stash and enjoy it, or we make alternate accounts to store extra items.
Why not just make it easier for us and keep the stash LARGE?
T_T Very disappointed.

Rusty hearts is "in progress".
torchlight 2, might be worth trying if its cheap.
And then there's always updates to some or other things to keep an eye out for.
WoW isnt really even on my list anymore. >_>
Guild wars, looks good.
Mass effect, good game no doubt, but has EA all over it, and won't be on steam.
Not going to touch it - more should boycott EA and their damned Origin crap.

There are DOZENS of better flash games out there.
Just jump on http://www.kongregate.com or armorgames, or newgrounds, etc.

I'd do HC, but i know that battle.net will lag at a critical point and kill off my hard work.
It just makes it, not worth doing.
Perhaps a bunch of achievements might sweeten the deal.

Good thing they are trying to get the old tooltips back

Id rather they make it AWESOME, than jump into a laggy, buggy, crashing game that we've been expecting for so long.
