Not sure if this is the right forum on not (seems pretty general though), but can you re-bind the movement of your character to anything but left click?
I'm glad they've added in an action bar now letting you use 1-5 for skills, but can you re-bind movement to say WASD? I doubt you can, but it'd be good to know.

Currently in the Beta you are unable to change the key bindings for either of the mouse buttons.

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.
You can bind a key to "Move" which when pushed or held will make you move towards the mouse cursor.
It does not function like WASD controls in a FPS or anything to that effect though. It still works exactly the same as if you left clicked, but it will not use your left mouse skill if you are hovering over something.
You can think of it as the opposite of "Force Stand" (default to shift), as "Force Move" since as far as I can tell it will make you move towards the mouse no matter what you are hovering.
There was a thread in EU forums suggesting an "Always move button". It will work like always attack button in Diablo 2(shift). You'll be able to bind it to any key and while pressing it, your character will move instead of attacking even if there is a monster in your hitbox.
There were a blue reply saying that the idea was great but it won't be finished in release, but it will be added later with a patch.
Edit: Found the answer from nakatoir:
We just wanted to let you all know that this feedback that you have given on a dedicated click to move button is excellent, and we may implement this, the option for this would be unbound by default.
Sadly, this option would not be ready for when the game is shipped. While it would not be ready for ship if we do end up implementing it, I hope that you are all glad to hear this news ^^
Even if you could bind and move with WASD, I doubt you'd actually want to, unless you have a mouse with enough buttons to comfortable use all of your skills.
The force move dosn't sound too bad, but that's what always irked me about Diablo 2. You'd left click to attack a monster and accidently run through it. With seperate move controls to your attacks, if you left clicked you'd just attack, nothing else.
I guess with the way the cameras set up, it'd not really work very well too, but ah well

You do know about the existence of Shift, right? If you use Shift, you don't run the risk of moving instead of attacking.
Wow, no, i didn't! It wasn't untill i was watching someone's Let's Play!, that i found out you could even shift+click potions onto your belt. I'd always drag and drop and it'd take ages. Thanks for that, should help alot.

You can move around the map by hitting an attack on an area instead of clicking. However it is ironic that you have to use the mouse to look at where you want to move all the same. Diablo was always a game of clicking. If they made an WASD system people would probably go ape S and say they won't play wowdiablo3. If you don't like clicking with your trigger finger maybe you could use the thumb to move if you can rebind stuff, haven't tried anything like that myself though.
