I'm just curious if any of the particularly excited for D3 people out there, like myself, have any plans for when D3 launches, new computer coming? already arrived? time off from work planned?
Furthermore, anyone got any plans of things to try in the game? melee wizard? ice based witchdoctor? Dual wielding dual shielding barbarian?
I put a new computer together for myself a few months ago, and just picked up a mechanical keyboard for the inevitable release of D3; So i've almost got a brand new computer area for myself as well as about 2 weeks of PTO saved up at work for the launch and i'm definitely getting collector's edition. But yea, im curious if anyone else whom is...as excited as i am, has made any plans or gotten any new shiz.
Building a new PC soon myself as well. My current one could run it I'm sure, but I want to be sure I can get smooth framerates at the highest settings while running all my other programs and jazz. My current one would probably shit itself and die if I did anything awesome.
I'm hoping Diablo 3 arrives at a time when classes aren't a problem. I think I'd be OK with the delay if it released right as the semester ended in December instead of November. Having it come out at a bad time will make it difficult to play excessively
As for the day of (and the day after, and probably a few days more), it's gonna be all coffee, chips, and Diablo
I will buy a new computer and all the other stuff (mouse, keyboard, speakers..) before Diablo 3 comes out, so I can enjoy it in ultra settings
I think i'm gonna roll a monk first . I really like the fast playstyle and flashy skills he has
As for the day the game comes i have nothing planned yet, but I will definately stay up all night playing it.
Similar threads were here alerady, but i'll still keep answering
I will buy a new computer for D3, although i wouldn't really need to. I have told my boss, that i would need at least 2 weeks off of work, when D3 goes live, but that i couldnt say, when exactly, yet. I also plan to get lots of fastfood and Monster Energy Drinks and then i'm gonna lock myself and my best m8 up in my apartment to play D3 day n nite, as much as we possibly can.
Sounds perfect, doesn't it?
THIS.
Glad to see you're with me. MONSTER!
I think we can put our differences behind us, for science - you monster.
I don't know if I can take off of work, it will depend heavily on when the game does actually end up coming out. I'd like to though, and really get into it. It's been a long time since I've actually been really looking forward to a game for a significant amount of time.
Depending on how much of my vacation I have used (I may be using most of it to go to Oktoberfest), I'll probably take a few days off.
I already have a decent computer that should be able to play it pretty well, depending on the CPU requirements. My goal is to easily exceed the "recommended" specs, so I'll upgrade if I have to.
I also just realized, that since my computer is next to my tv, I can get a tv dinner tray of some sort, plug my mouse and keyboard into the front (or maybe get an extension cord or two), and then hook my computer up to my 55" plasma and the sound through my $800 speakers.
The only question left is: Will it come out on Tuesday at 0:01 like SC2? In which case I need to have 4 days to tget to the weekend.
I might be ordering a new barebones computer next week with my paycheck, but it's as much for anticipation of Skyrim (and for a more flawless Witcher 2 experience) as it is for Diablo III.
I'll install the game, I'll log in and reserve my names then log out, read the game manual, log back in and play for 8 solid hours. After that I'll play 4-5 hours per day solo until I beat the game. I like to play solo and I want to try some different things before I start playing co-op. I'm in no super rush to hit the level cap. I just want to have fun and enjoy playing the game.

Lots of people wanting to reserve their names. Am I missing something?
Just an example. Conan will probably be taken right off the bat for a barb name.
I wouldn't name my chars that, I like to be a little more original/creative but I don't want to wait and find out the char names I've got in mind are taken.

A flaw in my perfect plan...

-All vacation from work
-Raise faction with family to allow for some ignore buffer room after release
Food and Sleep will no longer be a part of my life.

For release, I'm planning on playing the game.
