Dont know if a thread like this already exists.... but
Do you think that with the destroyable/interactive environment will cause a problem for multiplayer?
i mean in the gameplay video we saw the barbarian knock down the wall and smash all the zombies... but what if in multiplayer there was a person that got hit by that wall too instead of just the zombies?
would it hurt the player?
and how would this change the gameplay... because im sure lots of people will be smashing objects and things just for fun, but now that you can knock down walls onto enemies people might start to try knocking them on you for fun.... and if hundreds of objects are being destroyed at the same time, do you think it will cause a major fps hit?
im interested in hearing others opinions and questions....

No it will not be a problem. Blizzard is smart enough to worry about these problems for us and im 100% positive they found a solution to it.
That problem would be as simple as.. not letting players destroy things that would cause death to their partners? Just like the old fashioned "I can't use this yet" when trying to put on a item with too high requirements.. Just a simple voice saying something to say no don't do that.
dude these barbarians are out there getting clawed by demons 24/7...i think they can take a couple bricks hitting them in the head without much problem.
Not everything will be destructible as pointed out somewhere, I think in later interviews in response to the gameplay video. I'm thinking two things can happen.
1. Players will actually be able to kill each other through environmental means, which would be awesome. Theoretically I'd like this feature to exist, but I also know that it would annoy me those 200 times that it caused me to die.
2. Players will simply not be affected. Much more likely in my opinion, even though it might look ridiculius at times.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Great question, I hope Blizzard can say something about this issue
I would like to actually see environment being used in PVP.
but in co-op play I'm guessing that it would be treated like friendly fire in shooting games, it will either have no effect on the guy hit or there will be a toggle on/off option when creating the game room.
do you guys think that there will be an enemy that is immune to bricks? lol just wondering
you know like in hell mode everyones immune to something..
I can almost guarantee that all bosses will me immune to environmental attacks; or there won't be any around the area. Of course there will be stuff you can break, but maybe not like that wall.
