I would prefer Diablo III be on PS3 rather than XBOX. If Blizzard even decided to create a console version of Diablo III they would first try to make a PS3 version anyways because Diablo is already register with Playstion.

Blizzard, please put back the single player offline mode!
I already said this on another thread, they won't make it a console b/c of battle.net (free thus far) xbox live who charges, and ps3 who charges . But on the slim chance they do make it for console, you'll know that battle.net will start charging. Not that it matters to me, but it's highly unlikey they would port it to console even if they was gonna charge for battle.net b/c they would be screwing themselves out of money by having to basically pay microsoft and/or sony money they would be making if they just kept it to pc.

[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Hell is an Illusion......There is only Death.
Considering the Starcraft port to the N64 allowed you to cast spells and coordinate all those troops, a game like Diablo could be put onto a console. Baldur's Gate has similarities with Diablo and that was ported pretty effectively.
Would I buy it? No, I'd play on the PC.
Someone mentioned steam achievements, if its the same idea go for it.
Xbox360 Achievements to me seem either really simple like each level completed or very ridiculous like GTA's pigeon thing.
Revenge (10) - Seek out and beat in a duel a player who had player-killed you when you were 10 levels below them or more.
That's pretty Low (5) - Pick up a fallen party members gold drop from their untimely death 100 times.
That's REALLY Low (20) - Keep denying it.
