posted a message on Diablo 3 not till 2011 or beyond.
Just remember folks, this is Blizzard . So if they announce a release date lets say August 2011 for example, you can be well assured it won't be out until at least 6 months to a year late.

posted a message on Is D3 dark enough for you now?
As long as the gameplay and story is solid, I couldn't care less about the graphics (which I do like). My only real concern is that Blizzard puts too much into this game. Keep it simple.

If the battling npc's can be used as a distraction or even help like with the barbarians in the bloody foothills, then great.

Perhaps it won't get no where near as much bad publicity has GTA and it might not get banned for religious reasons, because religious folk that do this are often fronned upon. I just wanted to explore this possibility, since the gouvernment is having like a big cack down on these things.

Just to go a little off topic here, why has the GTA series taken so much heat for things like this when there isn't no concrete evidence that it might cause problems to a minor, but games like WOW that people (or one dumbass chinese kid) kill themselfs over don't or atleast not as much?

Yea, that bad publicity really killed the GTA series heh. Depending on the circumstance, bad publicity is sometimes the best publicity. Diablo won't be banned lol it isn't even remotely close to some of the worst case scenario games around. How often do these religeous nutjobs actually win anyways?

on the subject of microtransactions, how many websites are there that sell diablo 2 gear such as runes, weapons, rings and armor? once you have looked into that i think microtransactions is just there big word for they want in on that part of the bizness lol, just a thought

I imagine Blizzard is already making money from the sites selling gear. And has granted (sold) them permission to sell the gear, otherwise they would be subject to legal action for copyright infringement seeing as the gear (files) they are selling are propery of Blizzard Entertainment. Correct me if I am wrong.

posted a message on Shooting for gold as main currency
In my opinion the only way to make gold truly valuable would to place less emphasis on runes, gems. Having them drop more frequently. Plus having some killer gear sold from non playing characters, not so much that it would hurt the loot drop system. Having rare, uniques, set items drop even less would help as well (if they will be rare uniques and sets in Diablo 3). As far as battlenet goes, the trade system should purely be gold for gear and gear for gear only, dissallow trading runes and gems. I agree with several posts on this thread about battlenets security needing to be tightening for gold to be worthwhile. Personally, I don't trade on Battlenet, unless I have gave up on a character and decide to have a free for all, dropping items in town for whoever to get. Not exactly trading...heh

posted a message on G4TV's Adam Sessler Attacks Diablo 3's Art Haters
People are going to piss and moan about the artstyle, that isn't going to stop. I love the new look and trust Blizzard not to fuck up D3. With that being said, Adam Sessler is a douchebag but in this rare occasion I agree with him. Sidenote: A message to the petitioners. 50K or whatever the number is up to now (not an accurate number imo) that disagree with the artstlye, colors, ect, need to just get over it because Bliizzard has heard you, and you are insignificant to them. Just because so few of you think Blizzard is going the wrong way doesn't mean 3-5 million people will not love Diablo 3.

Good stuff, I like the idea that they are scaling down the pots if not doing away with them altogether. It becomes frustrating having to tp to town just for a pots. This new idea (not that new of an idea) will keep the flow of the game going. Should make pvp interesting.

posted a message on Diablo II Battle Chest Topples Sale Charts Post-Diablo III Announcement
Bought the Battle Chest a couple months ago, still have the original games as well, Basically wanted a copy of the original Diablo , plus the guide for reference without having to skip around the net for the most part besides updated stuff from patches, plus it never hurts to have extra copies of d2 and lod. Good to see renewed interest in the series as a whole.

The good thing about it would be that there would be a sense of community, and not the sense of abandonment and detatchment that I felt in D2.

Hopefully there will be be other more effective and practical things to bring players together, instead of games with just 8 people.

Whats wrong? noone would rush you? hah
