Does anyone have diablo 2 for their mac? I can't get mine to play. It was an electronic gift, so there is no cd and the cd key is a different length than normal. I thought I had it good to go but now it just says that

"This program closed suddenly"

any help out there? I sure would like to play d2 at work haha.

I decided a long time ago that D3 is the only game I will ever pay monthly for so I will pay for what ever they feel like giving extra stuff for.

its cool that wc 3 is getting a patch but come on D2 is more important. PRIORITIES people!

I completely agree. It is up to Blizzard to make the best game possible it is up to the parents to tell thier kids to behave and don't talk to stupid strangers.

i was going to buy it either way. I don't play WoW because the only game i will be willing to pay for monthly is D3 baby!

um TPPK is a cheat. and they are fixing the security so it is obviously how the game is supposed to be played with out cheating.

i for one is stoked about the wizard. Even if the types of characters are not original from what i have seen her skills are completely original. When has a MMORPG ever had a skill where you slow down time and to put it in a bubble is just genius.

I say bravo to blizzard for making the ordinary extraordinary!

Blizzard makes them good, and it's impossible to make new classes. Every other game has used gameplay of a certain class before.

it is not impossible to make a new class. It may be difficult and not worth the time or the effort but its not impossible. You just have to make up a new story about a new type of hero.

I'm really excited about a new class being revealed but does anyone else thing the concept of the archivist is kinda ridiculous? He's like a super librarian. SHHHH is cool but come one really?

If they are worried about us managing our inventory more than paying attention to the action in the game does anyone else feel kinda like that means we will be having a crap load of inventory? Bc even if you go with a tetris style you are still thinking about how much room you have and what not.

Here's hoping the game is interesting enough so that inventory isn't a big distraction.

I'd like to see some sort of team PvP. And maybe like when you are creating a game there can be a game type that is just PvP.

Like you would have normal, Nightmare, Hell and PvP. Which would be just like an arena for players to kill each other.

I think the trading system would be cool if it had some kind of way to show the value of the items being traded. Like if I have a charm that's really amazing and you have a unique sword that I would like but its not as valuable as my charm there would be a point system that would come up in the trade menu to warn me that i am not getting my money's worth. And then it is up to me to decide if i really want that sword or if i want more for my charm.

Is there any chance of being able to download the game directly from the internet when we purchase it so we don't have to scramble at the stores or worry about preordering?

Kinda cutting out the middle man... and the time it would take to drive home haha.

PVP is a must have in today's gamers society but it needs well protected against hackers.
