Ahh so your correct yourself ey? You said that ANY UNIVERSE will be the same.
Any, not every. Any of a type. Because you can't put Diablo in a sci-fi universe, for instance (well, you kinda can, but you'll get Alien Shooter). Theoretically, you can put Diablo in medieval Japanese universe... or something.
The point is, there is nothing unique about Diablo's universe that it deserves to be credited. Also, Roman democracy is very primitive compared to other democracies. Rome fell apart.

Alright, lets rewind back to Medieval Times in Europe (OUR Universe): Insert Diablo Universe in tehre hopefully it will blend, now Chritianity and/or religions of God are HUGE religions back then, then suddenly Lucifer is now 7? Archangels comes down and battle evil? Demons run rampant across the lands?
This will be an impact of the Bible in both Old and New Testament, which is part of Chrisianity and/or other religions of God. We all know that there is no 'Jesus' in the Diablo Universe, and we all know that Lucifer isn't divided into 7 entities. And also the story of Genesis will be forever altered.
Summary: Christianity and/or Relgions of God plus Diablo Universe don't mix
Rome fell apart, but how long did it last? We still study the Ancient Romans and their culture even today, that's credentials for you
Also, I think you can put in a sci/fi universe: Hellgate: London
I didn't say put Diablo storyline into European. I said use European happenings to mold Diablo. Lucifer doesn't have to be divided into anything, nor do you need as much classes (in fact, Archers and Warriors are already in, and mages can be molded from some church servants). It's all about how you do it. Diablo is not storyline. It's the gameplay. Siberia is storyline.
Well of course gameplay is going to be in sychronization with European happenings? Wasn't the goal in the Middle Ages to claim the Holy Land and/or exorcise Evil?
Now back on the topic about the logo:
AS the Roman Empire I have posted above clearly shows the ironic similarities of both issues, let me put one more situation in here. For everyone who loves WoW, what happens if Blizzard abandons it and a new company develops it even furhter say like, EA? Now honestly, would you rather have EA or the Blizzard logo on the new WoW game or for any Blizzard Product for that matter? This issue goes back to Blizzard North.

I would want who actually made it so I know who deserves the credit/blame (depending).
Blizzard North doesn't even exist anymore. I don't care who makes it, as long as it's good and whoever actually made it is credited.
The Roman Empire doesn't exist anymore. This is the fourth time I brought this up I think
Oh right... but what does that have to do with producing, designing and releasing computer games?
Edit- Lol, basically said the same thing as Winston

I made a comparism, jsut the concept of it all was what i was trying to get through here
The Romans didnt make America but guess what? We are still studying Latin, and what is Latin everybody?!
Look at the Bolded, Italicized, and underlined part of the quote
So if you're playing Diablo 1 or 2 than you can credit Blizzard North? That seems closer to the comparison you're making because you're really not explaining it very well. I just can't make out what you're trying to draw from that.
Blizzard North set the foundations of the Diablo Universe and develoepd it thouroughly, this is what they should be credited for. The comparism of the Roman Empire states that if you start something thats unique you should be credited for it, not sure what's to not understand.

I've been led to believe that there's no Blizzard North logos on the Diablo books, why aren't you complaining about that?

But they did not/will not be creating Diablo 3. Sure they made the concept, but they already got their credit on 1 and 2. I don't bother crediting the Romans for the English language. They may have had a huge impact on the English language, but it's not theirs.
All in all, with your comparison, Diablo 1 and 2 = Latin, Blizzard North = Roman Empire and Diablo 3 = English or most other Western European languages.

But thats not going to happen
And that isn't the same scenario even. Blizzard North officially doesn't even exist

Team 3 may be Team Blizzard North...
Diablo 3 would be their third game...
D3 will be in 3D...
This BlizzCon, is the 3rd one...
1 + 1 + 1 = 3
