With new "exciting, and unexpected" legendary items coming to the game in this new 1.04 patch, is everyone feeling like I am in the sense that they don't want to farm in inferno until the patch is released?
I know that whatever items that I find now will most likely be insufficient going forward.
yea pretty much - i'm waiting for the item with percent chance to spawn necromancer on hit

Every time I log in to Diablo 3 I am overwhelmed with a feeling of indifference and just post a few things on the ah and log off. There are many reasons why I feel this way. The impending legendary additions are only a small factor.
Right now you should still be farming to build up a good MF dps set so that when the buff finally does come you will be able to find the new legendaries faster.

^^^ Same here. I am leveling a barb now because mindless farming and finding little to nothing is just stale and lame. Waiting for the legendary patch, but I'll probably grow bored again as I did after 1.0.3.
The problem as i see it with legendary itmes is more than stats. They have included them into the salvage arena for BS. Wrong because first off they are harder to come by than rare items and when u get one you want it to be worth keeping. But instead they made them to be salvaged for bs plans ? What ? Why ? Just make Brimstones rare when salvage a rare lvl 63 items instead.
Thanks for the responses, it's weird for me. I'm a lvl 60 DH stuck in act two not trying to run my way through it. I want to be strong enough to hold my own and not run. Not sure that's a choice that I have now :).
My main point was, the legendaries are SO rare that I'm more apt to try to equip one when the stats aren't worth it, is anybody else feeling this way?
If the new legendaries are at all good, they'll sell for a huge premium (particularly if they have legendary-specific attributes). I forsee the following problem:
When a legendary finally drops, is the benefit from wearing it greater than the benefit from selling it and buying upgrade rares?
Unless Blizzard cranks up the droprate, the answer is "probably not" unless you're close to BiS.

Thoughts??
Yeah, it's unlikely that they hit the spot considering how far off they were with the first attempt.
Either way, I don't really care because I VERY rarely get a legendary so it doesn't really matter.
My guess is that the only thing "unexpected" about the new legendary items will be how unexciting they are. Hope I'm wrong.
