    OP, I don't think you know what "slander" means, but anyway...

    I don't mind them taking input from the community. I would _prefer_ them to have a good vision of their own. Design by committee doesn't work, and the best things out there are created by those who recognize that the consumer doesn't always know what they want until they are shown it. I'm not sure how much they are actually listening though.

    We still have the huge itemization issue and boring gems and those don't appear to be changing any time soon. Pre-ROS I heard a lot about build changing gear... yet I haven't found anything of the sort yet. I know that a few pieces exist, but many of us haven't seen one of them (I'd bet most of us), so who are these intended for? Is their idea that only a small number of players get to enjoy these "build changers" and the rest of us are just stuck with "find more main stat + cch + chc"? I don't think the gear "revamp" was executed very well.

    Yeah, that's a clear solution. Not sure why people whom espouse hatred for being "forced" to play the always online version when there's an offline version available for sale.
    You're right; I'll just go ahead and buy a PS3, spend *another* $60 to play an outdated version of a game I already own, just to play offline. What a "clear" and practical solution, thank you.

    Their intention is irrelevant. Being forced to play online has provided me with exactly zero benefit, yet has rendered the game unplayable on numerous occasions.

    It's pretty obvious that this method isn't intended and I'm about 99% sure that it will be nerfed sooner than later. Just because something isn't intended doesn't necessarily mean that it's an exploit however. Most people who do "exploit" don't get banned for it, duping 2 billion gold multiple times and crashing the AH and also RMAH is on a completely different level than sitting in one place over night killing rats and getting a few legendaries.
    When you play Diablo for 6+ hours per day you tend to lose your sense of perspective. Didn't you know? Diablo is srz bsnz and leveling quickly has serious ramifications (which no one can articulate, but they exist!)

    While we're on the subject, Square really needs to patch the Lete River exploit in FFVI. I mean, it just boils my blood to know that others are gaining levels faster than I am by abusing game mechanics! Sure, I never interact with these people in any meaningful way, but.... reasons.

    Agreed. I've been playing Grim Dawn recently and, while the game is nowhere near as polished as DIII (fighting specifically, but also the little things), the loot is far more interesting. I'm not just looking for pieces that have the most +<desirable stat>. Gear comes with all sorts of bonuses which make me consider a different build/play style, even at low levels.

    Found a belt with +1 to all skills the other day and no other stats. Awesome. Gear can be "enchanted" with items that give a wide array of different bonuses. These items can be combined to form a stronger version of themselves. Awesome. Just more to think about while I play than "must find cch/cdmg."

    I don't think they need a buf. They're just a bonus, and easy to kill champ pack / rare equivalent. I got two (crappy) legs killing 8 or so in a pack of them a while back.

    Yes, I take what I said back, go with damage. Black damage for now since the elemental dmg doesn't work yet.
    elemental damage is only a problem in regards to the +%damage affix. If you don't have that it's not a problem.
