There were chickens in ACt1 rogue encampment. lol. When I got bored I would chase them out of town and watch the monsters scare them around to. lol

Haha, I guess I wasn't the only one then.
Also while we are on the topic of diablo background critters, I want the slugs that came out of Duriel to be in Diablo 3. Squishing those things was probably the highlight of Act 2.
with a wizard as an opponent you'd probably end up a roasted chicken
the Hex ability is pretty much known from WoW (troll witch doctor mobs and i think shamans aswell) only they turn you into a frog instead of a chicken.

It's in WC3:TFT as well.
WD has really good crowd control, it seems. This and horrify will help the rest of the team make some kills.

Without them actually wanting it, this game is still gonna be PVP Based at the endgame for tournaments and shit.
MY GOD SHEEP THE FUCKER....ehhmm CHICKEN HIM I MEAN!
can you see all those WOW koreans that give d3 a chance allready?
Really doesn't matter what the developers want, if history proves anything it is that Diablo PvM isn't and can't be more of a challenge then PvP based on the fact that the game is soloable alone. In the end just like Diablo 1 and 2 it will be level up a character, get your gear and go PvP, that's how Diablo has always been and that's how the community will make it be regardless of what the developers have in mind.
I know that chicken!!
Thats Diablo after I defeated him and returned him to his TRUE form!!
Now he is bound to the PvP arena where he must spend eternity getting chased
around by us while we duel!!

And a similar skill is in WCII for human and orc sorcerers/wizards. I think. I know the wizard transforms guys into sheep.

The human mage could use polymorph (which turned people into a sheep). Orc deathnights were stupid and had raise dead or something instead. They were lame.
What kind of proper magic user cant turn somebody into an animal?

If I ever go PvP I really hope I get hexed. Nothing better than thinking: "Shit, I'm a chicken... awesome"
