posted a message on Cindercoat + 5 marauder+ RoTRG is good?
In a Mara build you don't really need a lot of CCs to maintain distance from mobs. Most of the time a Smoke Screen will send the mobs to attacking the pets. As for builds for bounties, the Danetta set is easy enough to obtain for permanent vault with cone of cinders to burn chasing mobs.

Also even for a fire Mara build I don't think Tasker and Theo should be left off the discussion, the speed gain is also way larger in 2.1.

In order to figure out if split farming Normal is faster vs any of the Torment 2s and up, we need to have numbers on the how much the increase in drop rate is per difficulty. Without that info we can't really have a discussion.

does tnt fix the fact that sentries dont benefit from IAS with 3 spenders? i tested your spec on t6 ghom vs the one with only multishot and ca. in both tests i just put up 4 sentries and timed the run (i have the 1.47 breakpoint). 2 spender was around 21-22second while 3 spender was 28-30second, however i dont have the taskers thats why im interested if they actually make this build perform better than the 2 spender build
No, at the moment does not fix it. TnT and IAS are on different factors, so TnT affects sentries but IAS is still bugged.
so 2spender TnT should still outperform 3spender TnT?

e: i tested it, 2spender tnt is still 2-3 seconds faster than 3spender tnt for me so damagewise the build sadly underperforms
    It's fixed on PTR.

How is it I just rolled a demon hunter 4 days ago and I already have a fire/physical set minus an amulet and I can see physical is better?

all i can say is holy crap u got all that in 4 days? Took me around 30k bloodshards to just get TnT :''( lol
I find that hard to believe unless he played 4 days as in 96 hours. Prob took me at least a couple of weeks if not longer to get what I have and I think his 4-day gear is better than mine.

Fire builds are honestly great for those who havnt gotten to T6 sub 10 yet.. try to get their with a fire build and you need to get lucky with the packs, density, and way to many other things to make fire > phys.. phys turrets are by far the DH end game for anything efficient in T6.
How so unless you're using Guardian Turrets for survival.
Death, you have a sub 10 min T6 run w/ a fire build?.. I have never seen one...
I do not, I'm currently just around 10min for T5 clear in my fire build. I will give Physical a shot as all I'd have to do is reroll the fire dmg on current gear to physical. My gear also still have room for improvement (first and only Rucksack rolled 16% ias and 8.5% crit, no sentry/ms/ca dmg on shoulders/chest/helm, no trifecta RoRG or TnT, and no 10% dmg on Buriza).

    I assume you have TnT?

Test method: Run T6 rifts over and over - you will see the efficiency and effectiveness of physical build (more automatic damage and survive-ability)

I should add if you are just looking for a build to single target RGs or Ghom then yes Fire but for T6 Rifts Physical is superior.
If I got enough Souls to convert all 3 items to Physical I'll give it a shot. I'm currently clearing T5 in about ~10min when not trying to rush through.

Hard to call 4/6 set a "Helltooth end-game guide" ... It's just pretty much standard pet doctor with crappy Hellthooth's instead of Blackthrone's...
I don't even run Blackthorne's set bonus really; it's useless. I find the Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan much better. Kadala gives them out often. So much easier to do great damage with those. Also, I'm shooting for some Ice Climbers now. Those babies are the bomb.
Oh ok... Blackthorne useless ? Hexing Pants ? Oh i see... We got a real PRO here :)
Why do you think they are bad? As a pet doctor you're going to do more damage literally running in a circle to gain the +25% bonus while your pets go, than sitting there casting rain of toads for irrelevant numbers.
He didn't say Hexing Pants are bad, he only said BT isn't useless. Which you prefer is up to you imo.

How is the 100% rocket damage from Ballistics applied? Does it mean it doubles or if they originally do 400% they now do 500%?
I've been keeping up with this thread. Like I said prior - I've tested both Phys and Fire and I can say with TnT Phys is overwhelming favorite for T6. I highly suggest you try this if you have not already.
What was your testing method? I'm not sure atm if I have enough Souls to reroll physical on my SoJ, bracers, and amulet. Will certainly give it a try though if I can. So you went with Ballistics + CA:SS + MS:Broadside + Spitfire?

Here's a little secret Deatherian, you can use Sentry with Spitfire Turretas Physical, it wont changeShooting StarorSupression Fire to fire, so still 3 x 400% from SS > 3 x 160% from Arsenal, Ballistics is awesome for SS, it even has higher damage than the initial impact if you're 1 on 1'ing a RG, and no, Spitfire Turret "proc" is not even significant enough to put it into SS vs Arsenal comparison, in fact, iwould have the +15% reduce dmg from Guardian Turret if i werent running Mr Yan.
I know it won't, but the rockets from spitfire are still Fire are they not? Also the 3 rockets from SS don't all fire if there are less than 3 targets to hit, whereas the grenades from LfB can all hit. And why compare SS vs Arsenal when with M6 you'll be running both CA and MS with difference being the runes for each. You should compare Arsenal vs Broadside/Suppression (I'd prob lean Broadside since I'm not having any issues with Disc). I would like to see the math on that. Do the 3 rockets from Arsenal boosted by Ballistics outdps the 460% wpn dmg from Broadside?

Instead of just comparing SS vs Arsenal's rockets. What we really need is SS + Broadside vs LfB + Arsenal.

PS, I was going to ask as well before I finished reading your whole post. If Spitfire's rockets are so insignicant, and even more so for phy build, and if you don't need Guardian, would it be better to run Impaling instead or do the rockets still do better than impaling via Ballistics even w/o +fire gear?

Running T&T without a phys build is basically ditching 20% to all fire damage for 50% of the base attack speed.. that math doesnt add to TnT being better for a fire build at all..
for yourself no, but I think you're underestimating how much pets and sentries benefit from the 50% attack speed.

What superior AoE? LfB has better AoE component than SS. And Ballistic is not a dead passive on Fire too as it boosts Arsenal and Spitfire Turrets. And putting turrets aside, go ahead and compare how many clusters can you fire with and without Cindercoat. With it I can literally spam it while setting down turrets, and without it I spend "free" time doing what.. Hungering Arrow mostly? I'm not saying physical is bad, it's not, but please try not to be biased.
I said both are good but apparently you can't read and seem a little biased yourself. I'll tell you one thing fire is garbage for, fire mobs. They take massive reduced damage, especially spiders. Fire doesn't benefit from ballistics like physical does. Pets deal huge damage as physical, watch them slaughter a t4 guardian. My crusader is fire and the fire mobs alone were enough to change my mind.
How does fire not benefit from Ballistics?

Spitfire Turrets' rockets are fire, rockets from MS:Arsenal are fire. Physical seem to only have CA:SS working with Ballistics. I actually feel like fire benefits from Ballistics better than physical.

Been playing both phy and fire with top gear. And seriously, both are good and I cannot tell the difference. I got top gear for ages and I still can't decide which to chose therefore, i keep switching between fire and phy.

    - Fire build can take advantage of magefist without hurting your toughness (unlike cindercoat).

    - Phy build can take advantage of TnT or even garwulf without hurtint your toughness too.

Fire tho can hit harder but phy can hit faster. Seriously it's just too hard to come up with a conclusion when you see all those number output with all the turrets. You never know if it was your pet are your dogs and since it's scrolling so damn fast you barely have time to see the numbers...

Those 2 are just simply good and what is gonna make the difference is just the items you currently have at your disposition.
How come no one here is running Fire with TnT? It's not like TnT doesn't grant the speed boosts for pets and sentries if you run fire runes for your sentries. It's not like physical build with M6 can go higher in elemental damage over Fire. I just find the fire runes match up better than physical so I went with fire while not using Magefist or Cindercoat.
