how are you finding the Fear Proc on Echoing Fury? Manageable or annoying?

I'm using the Scoundrel with a Buriza which freezes most everything so it's rarely noticable.

Oculus is not crap, it just has different strengths then other rings like Unity or Litany. It rolls Armor, AR and vit so offers considerably more dmg mitigation then Unity and likely litany also (lacks vit armor roll), if you can find one with Crit chance (random roll up to 6, litany/unity max is 4.5) its a very good ring.
I use one with 4 CC now paired with a Unity with MF roll for farming and I can do MP10 key runs and MP8 ubers easily.

If I were you I'd go
    Replace leoric with CC oculus (gives vit and AR which allows;
    Replace pants with Str roll Inna's (gain Str and AS, sockets (vit gems) on pants and Oculus replace 185~ of lost vit, MS on Inna's allow;
Replace fire walkers with Ice climbers which can be socketed for high Str and give 10-12% life + random rolls, vit/MF/pIckupR, etc.

posted a message on Are MP0 speed runs terrible for loot?
i think the obvious answer is whats best for you depends on what level you can clear efficiently. For me MP0 is a complete waste of time, MP1 is better but still slow, MP2 is probably my sweet spot as far as speed if I wanted exp farm.
From the loot pov i prefer MP4 simply because the time it takes to clear is only marginally higher but the loot is much much better.

So, in theory, I would need about 7.1% life steal to counteract reflect damage completely.

And that's why BARBS are overpowered, because they can get up to 9% thx to the belt.
And FYI other classes specific gear doesn't have ANYTHING special. Like DH's cloaks can't roll attack speed (which they should), WD's weps can't roll extra DoT dps which they should, only BARBS benefit from extra possible rolls on their belts...

Maybe a topic for another thread but as a Barb I'm ready to support your LS plight under one condition, mighty belts can start rolling stats that class specific OH's can, I want an additional 250 avg dmg, 10 crit and 9 AS on my belt :)

    ARRRgh you people are retarded

You do realise that MP 0-1 is the best for farming right?
Complaining that a barb does better than monks on mp3+ is just pointless. You never, ever want to run that monster power except for farming keys or doing ubers.

While you may be partially correct and that's one of the reasons I'm rolling a monk at the moment, for my barb mp4 is the most efficient. Anything less and I'm stuttering around fury starved and anything more and mobs don't 1-2 shot or outlive nado's. I've timed runs on each mp lvl up to 8 and mp4 is the fastest for me.

@doriq: would you say that of my monk as well? I'm totally open to where you think I could become less squishy... while still keeping dps... could you also post a link to the monk you're talking about?

Yes your under geared. you have some decent gear but then you have some very subpar gear also, but more importantly your seemingly just stacking dps stats instead of creating a gear set that works together, your itemization is broken. But then I came here looking for monk build ideas so what do I know.

As for the barb vs everyone else argument that continues perpetually. First Barbs are deceptively OP at low gear levels because the mechanics of ww work even with crap gear, but just because it works doesn't mean it's good. Which It usually isnt unless the player really knows how to itemize and snipe gear at decent prices. Those barbs you see running around in constant wotb in pub games are almost always under geared and doing very little damage, if they weren't they'd be fury starved lagging behind the pack.

Increasing mob health is actually going to be a huge buff for blender barbs because the faster you kill them the less chance you get to gain fury.

So true m8, i m having huge fury probs on trash cause they simply die so fast, i made the same thought that some more hp at the mobs would be much better for ww barbs!!!
I ll prob start with lvl 10 and going down till i find something that i can farm efficiently.
+1 have to down tune my barb to balance fury generation, only doing 45kish unbuffed dps but 500% crit dmg means most trash mobs can't take even one crit. Gonna go for lvl 10 right off and retune/make upgrades as needed. I can already handle 4p public games solo fairly easily so the extra difficulty should be fun, even if it kills me at first.

posted a message on Value guide: Does your rare drop have value?
I don't think anyone's saying movement speed doesn't have value, it clearly does. But is it more valuable then AR? Clearly not and it's easy to see by the relative value of the 2 main legendary boots ice climbers and fire walkers. A perfectly rolled pair of rare boots with main stats, AR + MS are very valuable just like the legendary counterparts. Without MS they would still have value, clearly. MS is a secondary stat, required for "godly" boots but Isn't necessary for a pair to be good because as a stat MS holds less value then AR, and primaries and its more likely to be compromised in favor of these other stats. A simple search of the auction and this is easy to see.

    Good job on the worksheet.
It's interesting that you list movement speed as "should have" for boots. No matter how good the affixes are on boots, I just trash them if no moveSpd. Am I missing something?

My MF Ice climbers without movemen speed sold for 50 mil a few hours ago, so I would say movement speed isn't always necessary.

Iceclimber is a legendary, not a rare.

True. The 'point I was making is that people still pay good money for well rolled items even if the item is missing a stat that might seem mandatory. Ice climbers sell for 10 times+ what fire walkers do because boots hold more value as defensive/main stat slot item. The boots I sold sold at a 30 mil premium because they had +armor and + fire res. So ya, a well rolled pair of rare boots is sellable even without MS.

posted a message on Are you a dps melee char doing public games?
Funny, the typical public game for me usually involves killing each elite pack solo and then raising the 3 ranged class scattered around so they don't have to inconvenience themselves with the walk back. Sure maybe my dps is only 50k with full MF gear and WW build but I'm landing 5 times more hits then most ranged classes and I'm dying 20 times less so I'm almost always the largest contributor of the group. I have met a few amazing ranged class, particularly one wizard but 95% of the time I'm carrying them and have to listen to their cries when I need to vendor Rares and leave for 10 sec so it works both ways man.

Use the search function, enter the exact stats as the item you want and sort by time,..it will show up at near the top,..keep hitting search and the item price will update if there's been a new bid since the last time you hit search,..wait till 10 sec left and bid what your max comfortable bid would be.

posted a message on Loot is still breaking this game
The loot system will always "suck" because there will always be players dissatisfied with their drops or maybe more importantly the value and marketability of their drops. If they improve drops a notch then the market will correct itself accordingly. If they diversify drops with better and more varied affixes then the market will corner the most popular of these and move accordingly. Blizzards cannot possibly satisfy every player or create a loot system that makes every user a loot winner, all they can do is try to stay one step ahead and try to keep adding new additions to the game be it new content or new loot which is an area they could improve and a more constructive topic IMO.

    have a good day trolls

Looking at your WD main, no MF,...less then 4k elite kills,...ya....Not even close.

Overall nice collection but how much of your time has been spent grinding inferno vs lvling new toons? If you want loot you got to focus on farming.
For comparison I've got over 15k on my barb alone.
