The death was quite the let down for me as well, however I had hope that he may have returned in a later sequence, potentially as the new Angel of Wisdom. would have felt fitting. Thought maybe it would be something that carried over into the expansion but then they jacked up that chance by making Tyrael become the Angel of Wisdom at the end.

I would like to see him assend into something greater, I feel like Blizzard might give him that. We will just have to wait and see.

I would love for a feature like this to be implemented. For me I enjoyed gaming because of the social aspect, its probably what kept me playing WoW for as lon as I did. This game could benifit in a lot of ways, especially in how it could create end game opportunities. It could be tied to many different aspects from Ladders to PVP to start and more complex ideas implemented from there. I personally think that using a Ladder system with clans would be amazing for both HC and SC.

There could be a negative impact as well though, mainly with public games, where it could be a lot harder to find public games that fit what it is you would like to run. Not a huge deal, personally I never play public games, just games with friends but I could see where it might have enough negative impact for Blizzard to not want to implement the feature.

    My two cents.

posted a message on Tackled Act 2 Inferno now on to Act 3
    Quote from toisaga

forgot to mention I already have around 1100 LoH, and it doesn't seem to matter... I am thinking just a little more Damage reduction such as more armor a little more resist and add more vit... but it seems to do this I have to lose DPS which is my other problem...

Your LoH is about right then, don't really need more then 1100-1400 IMO. Like was stated get your resists up, honestly you should be pushing 900-1100 if you can. That's ideal for act 3-4. Also as stated you will want more HP, less %Life and more vita, it also effects your armor with your passives. Pick up a shield with a decent amount of crit, but survivability is what will get you through the acts, not damage. As long as you are pushing 15-18k dps you will meet all enrage timers, and without the ability to kite, you want to be tanky.

The biggest thing that will help you feel way more tanky in act 3-4 is drop Berserker Rage, and pick up Superstition. 20% damage reduction for all non physical damage is huge. Especially with how much elemental damage and caster damage is in acts 3-4.

EDIT: you are one talent from a full on tank build, dropping Charge, and picking up Ignore Pain with the Ignorance is Bliss (20% damage done heals) will make you extra tanky. I cleared act 3 with that exact spec, and less damage then you (like 14.5k when I did it and 900-1100 resists). Just more food for thought.

    Hopefully I helped, good luck!

You need a lot more on the resist front. I'd say try and push 800-900. That said I would suggest a couple talent changes as well.

With the spec you are running, I'd suggest dropping Seismic Smash for Ignore Pain with the healing buff. In my opinion this is one of the strongest talents when you are wanting to become a bit more tanky and progress. I would also swap out Relentless for Superstition, the 20% reduced elemental damage is really really good. Finally maybe swap out your rune on Frenzy from Manic to Sidearm. I believe the Sidearm proc hits also proc your LoH (which you should maybe try and get a bit more of, 600-800 at least for act 2).

When I was early progressing through Act 2 I ran that spec and could clear it all no problem. Your DPS should be fine without Manic for Belial's enrage.

    Hopefully I helped, good luck!

posted a message on Barbarian or Monk for Magic Find Stacking?
I've played both and personally prefer the Barb playstyle both Tank and WW/Tornado spec over the monk style of play. Both will work, but I think you underestimate what other classes can handle in terms of MF farm sets. I play with a Wizard who's farm spec has 325% MF + with stacks, and his DPS is through the roof. A DH who runs 250%+ MF and does really well as well. Both through Act 3.

The cost and clear questions really do come down to what you enjoy playing playstyle wise. Act 1 is easy to clear with low resists 400-600 is all you need really and Act 2 you are going to want 700-900.

I run in farm gear right now that is 250+ MF and can farm act 2 full clears in about 2 hours start to finish and thats probably slower then most on my Barb (I suffer from clean plate syndrom in terms of vendoring most my blues, turning over all the bodies :) ). When I was in a tank spec I was clearing in double the time and with 310+ MF. I'll take the 2ish hour full clears with a little less MF anyday.

Anyway I'm rambling at this point, but in all just play what you enjoy the most, gearing is all going to be about the same, maybe a little harder for Monks with weapons (want faster weps, fists or daggers) which tend to run a little more. You can put together a relatively decent MF farming set for 5-10 million depending how smart you are with your spending and listings.

    /end rant
