You miss the point of what I was saying, and are clearly trolling. It's been addressed that they feel like it's an issue, even in some of the recent posts they talk about the AH and the issues it can create. End of the day it's your choice whether you use it or not. The game is what you make of it. If you don't like it, find something you do enjoy to spend your time on. Seems like a simple solution to me.

Constructive answer though. Thanks for bringing something to this conversation.

Jaetch pretty much nailed most of it. People's ranting at times really baffles me. TheDFO also, made the point I was going to make once I got through these posts. Blizzard supports their games far better than most developers, the updates they have made to a game you paid for ONCE, is above and beyond if you look at the gaming community as a whole. Most people would either crank out DLC that they would charge everyone for, or just wait till an expansion.

I think people forget how lucky we are as a player base to have a forum, and opportunity to create change in a game we all clearly are passionate about (whether it is rage or joy). This isn't an MMO, we aren't paying a monthly fee for updates, and content buffs/adjustments. I'm not saying we have to be happy with it all, but I think it's great we even get the chance to voice our thoughts, and push changes within this community.

Most aren't so lucky for games they care about.

posted a message on Seismic HotA build Guide (good for exp farming)
    Quote from Twoflower

Since trying to get a HC barb to 60 and failing 3 times so far, I discovered seismic slam aswell and love it. Specialy since you get it early on and it just destroys white packs.

Edit : scratch that. Gotta rethink that build some more ^^

Not on topic, but thought I'd offer up some advice for your issues in HC. Take out all those STR gems and just stack the ever living crap out of Vita. Really makes leveling a cake walk, especially if you play sword and board. I even dropped the exp gem for a % life one as I got closer to 60.

Can't gain experience if you are dead. EHP is super important in HC.

    Barbs use Ik chest.
Sorry, its not gonna sell for much, even with the good life ^ it has, it would miss sooo much armor that Ik chest provides...

    My opinion.

Yeah iLvl killed the armor, but the stats outside of that are just so good, especially in terms of freeing up vita on other items.

Never had such great rolls on a yellow. Based on things I saw up that were inferior to it stat wise this could be worth a pretty penny. Would love some feedback! Thanks all.

You know $35 will you get you ~65M gold on the AH right? If you only wanted 45M I'd take that and run.

    Quote from thundersteele

Int max is 300 on gloves
    No vit
    no crit damage
    crit chance is low

I'd value them at roughly 10m, but since I don't play mage, I might be somewhat off here

Yeah I have gotten a few more opinions from some buddies who play WD/Mage and said that they will probably only go for 12-20M. Not terrible, but not the pay day one hopes for. Appreciate the replies. After being out of the game for a couple months I have no feel for the AH right now. So annoying.

Just couldn't get a feel for these on the AH based on I just don't know if the prices I see for similar gloves are actually realistic.

    Thanks for the help!

I got Prowlers three straight runs, all around the same spot in the Heart of the Damned. It was uncanny. Sadly they all rolled absolutely garbage :(. Things like no main stat, health globes or thorns... one pair actually rolled health globes AND thorns... awful.

posted a message on Well, Level 10... Still No Legendary
That's rough! Take solace in knowing that a buddy of mine finally got his first legendary and he rolled an amazing Manticore that sold for 110M. Sometimes it's quality over quantity. I can tell you now I've had probably 15+ legendary/set items drop since patch and I haven't made that much yet from the things I've seen. I run 311 MF currently with no folllower, mostly play in groups.

So chin up! It will happen, and hopefully when it does it will happen in a magnificent manner!

Thanks much for the reply. While I agree that you can piece out some really nice stuff through Legendaries and Rares, I think that 2 piece is really nice to have purely because it frees up some of the need for AR on at least 1 piece of gear. Allowing for a lot of flexibility at times.

Also I know what you mean with the gloves, but they are what I already have, so for now I'll run with them since I don't have the gold to fully swap them out for something new (plus I'm a stickler on keeping my MF above 300 with stacks for farming). I currently have a belt I am bidding on with great STR and Bash damage, hopefully I can get it without breaking the bank. I still struggle with the idea of going for IK boots, purely because if you don't get a good double STR roll you can really get a lot better through Firewalkers, and well rolled Ice Climbers (had a buddy roll 250+ STR, 12%MS, 79 AR ones yesterday.... so good, yet so out of my price range 300M+).

Also currently watching a Tyrael's Might, only 2 sockets but good Demon damage roll and STR roll. What do you guys think about Tyrael's Might vs IK Chest.

posted a message on Gearing Fun, IK Debate and More
Let me preface this by saying that I don't play a WW Barb. I've played, I've enjoyed it, but it's just not my thing. After 1.04 I got my hands on a decent 2H with a socket and high Str, swapped to a Rend/Revenge build and never looked back. I find the spec to be a lot of fun, especially in group play. If you want to see my character sheet you can check it out here.

    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Wanderer-1370/hero/23550846

That brings us to the question about IK. Originally as a WW barb 5P seemed great, you spend fury so fast the healing would have been great. However in my current spec I don't spend fury nearly s quickly, so only 2P is all that appealing to me (3P for 4% melee reduction really isn't great). The other thing I would like in my gearing is to roll with 24% Movement Speed, currently rocking 0. So in terms of pieces what do you guys think.

I currently have gloves, and am debating between Helm/Belt/Boots for the 2P. I think I've ruled out Boots, because the str roll for an affordable pair is never all that great, and you can get more value in terms of damage from Fire Walkers or Ice Climbers. However, Ice Climbers don't roll guaranteed MS. Helm it's the question of if the 2-3% crit I can gain, as well as Str can make up for the loss in IAS.

For the second Movement Speed I was looking at Tyrael's Might with at least 2 Sockets, I have thought about prowlers but getting crit and AR, makes them insanely expensive, and usually requires sacrificing Str.

I'd love any input or alternative suggestions in terms of setup. Apologies if there are broken thoughts, and the wall of text. Been looking through all this lately in terms of BiS moving forward, and would just love some outside Barb input. This is about as abbreviated as I can get with it!

posted a message on Paragon 100 too easy?
    Quote from Serefkana

Blizz said the time spent to reach Paragon level 100 should be roughly equivalant to reaching level 99 in Diablo 2. But seeing that people got to Paragon 100 as fast as they did, I think that's wrong.

Getting 99 in D2 took EONS! You could be farming Hell Cow Level for a WHOLE day, and only go from level 77-78... And that was as an op Sorc.

Blizz needs to either make Paragon exp more, or give us another 100 Paragon levels!
Because it's not fun, unless there is an impossible goal to strive towards for years.

For the average player Paragon will easily take several months to complete. I myself am only lvl 24, and I play more regularly then most. You can't judge the many by the few. It's taken me this long to get to 24, and it hasn't even gotten hard yet. The people blowing through are just doing whatever they can to hit it first, Leorics Signet being a huge thing, as well as some people actually farming Hell Act 3 wearing Cains set (another 30% bonus exp). I think what is up now is a great start till a deeper end game solution can be added, ala endless dungeons and of course PVP.

It's all in how you play, and if hitting 100 ASAP is your thing, you will have to pour countless hours into doing it. If you are that bored, suffer through doing it on a second, and heck even third toon.

TLDR: I think its tuned well for most of the player base, of course there are always exceptions to this rule.

    edit: spelling

posted a message on Easy mode barb build
That's not terrible, but if you would like to try out a rend build maybe give my spec a look.

    http://us.battle.net...0/hero/23550846

I just got that Skorn yesterday which has made me unkillable. Don't fret however, I ran a very cheap version of this build pre-skorn with 60k sheet dps, 72k with Bash stacks. The difference being I had a 1200 DPS, 2H mace with 400 Str, 150 Vit, and a socket for 2.2M (maybe I got lucky).

With CD's rolling and full stacks up, solo my DPS was ~220K with that mace and my current gear.

If you can nab a Skorn you can look forward to 80k sheet DPS, 110K with Bash stacks up. With CDs rolling solo I am at ~270K, when I run with a WD in my farm group I am at ~340K with totem (to give you an idea one rend if the initial hit crits can take a champ pack down to about 30-35% health with a 4 person group solo, you'll love it).

So as you can see the build can just get silly fun. If you run less MF gear the damage can really start to blow up. It isn't quite as fast as WW, but much more fun for me, I actually feel like I am playing a barb again. This weekend when I have time I think I might drop Leap for Earthquake just for the lawls to see how fast things melt.

Sorry for the wall of text but wanted you to have an overall idea of the build. It's fun, but also merely a suggestion. Best of luck and hope I helped!
