Quote fromThey did say the PTR would be up first.. makes sense. So maybe they'll have information on the PTR?
That's what I'm thinking it might be. Either that, or they finally had a breakthrough with the increased stash and just have to share the news with all of us (and then proceed to say that the patch will be released "soon").
Blizzard time > Valve time, y/y?

Haha. On the bright side, the skeleton had a smile on it's face. Well, at least, it looked like a smile.
Remember that Create-a-Town contest right before the FBIM4/GameMaker issue? I actually had Gillian in my town, along with some lame story detailing how she got to the new town, lol. Adria was being considered, too, though the problems started before I could finish and post it.
I could actually see that happening, too. It's like how we ran into Wirt during Diablo II - all that money he had on his corpse. Delicious justice.

Same here. I'm still a little hesitant, but if I manage to get a new PC and have extra money laying around, I might consider trying it. Maybe.

Yeah, it's very likely that she was killed after Tristram was attacked; the skeleton near the spot she stood in kind of confirms that for me. However, part of me wants to believe that the skeleton is that of her grandmother, and that Gillian either escaped during the attack, or she left immediately after the events of the first Diablo (fingers crossed~).
That's a pretty nifty read, though. I thought I'd read those things about Gillian somewhere before, and now I know where.

I'd like to see Anya make an appearance. It'd be nice to see how she handled Harrogath in her father's place, with the destruction of the Worldstone and everything (assuming she survived). Same with Larzuk; did he really end up getting through to Qual-Khek and create his crazy-sounding weapons? Or did he decide to pursue a bodybuilder lifestyle after wow-ing the ladies with his flexing and posing?
Hell, I wouldn't mind seeing Gillian return, either. I felt like she got so gypped in the original Diablo, so I'd like to see her have the chance to finally be useful.

I'm a fan of the Amazon's skills in Diablo II. Strafe is pretty fun in that your character is like a primitive machine gun. Lightning Fury's pretty useful, too, and I like how the animation looks.
As far as being purely useful, I'd say either Valkyrie (for tanking/helping your mercenary) or Teleport (for obvious reasons).
There's also an Assassin skill I like, but I can't remember the name of it at the moment.

That's kind of the same way I feel. I'll play male characters now and then, but they feel a bit awkward to me, and I can never manage to use them for long. Actually, the only males on my Diablo accounts are mules, along with the only Hammerdin I've ever made (he was for MF after the ladder reset, and I felt so guilty about his power that I stopped using him - never using one of those again, lol).

That's also why I listen to them, especially when playing a fast-paced game or something. It keeps me motivated.
I only mentioned Guitar Hero because if you ask a DF "fan" what their favorite song is, 90% of them will give the typical "FIRE AND FLAMES FUCK YEAH" response. A vast majority of those will then tell you that they heard it on Guitar Hero, and that's the only song they listen to.
Actually, it's like that for almost any band featured on a game like Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Shame.

That's easy: Guitar Hero fanboys.

You must be incredibly proud of yourself.
But as for me, I quit at one point because I was going through the process of moving. Due to some technical, and rather stupid, problems (yes, I'm talking about you, SBC Ameritech ^_^), I was unable to get internet access for awhile, and my accounts expired. I never bothered to pick it up again until 1.10.
I played regularly until the reset for 1.12, which was when all of my friends stopped playing. I suppose they didn't like the idea of having to restart or whatever, so I got stuck playing by myself. It wasn't very fun playing alone, so I rarely log on anymore; I never got any good items on my own anyway, so it's no huge loss.

The best fun, though, was with friends. We (all eight of us in a game) would put "Charge!" over our heads before rushing in to kill a boss, or we'd make wisecracks at each other with the little makeshift arrows. I wish I could remember specifics, but it's been too long. None of my friends play the game anymore.
Anyway, I'm going to remember that item cover-up one. Might be helpful someday, but I doubt it.

Alas, I wish I could join you, but my level and character prevent me from doing so. I have a crappy Meteor/Orb Sorceress that I use to MF right now, but maybe I'll join up with you all once I get myself established with an bow Amazon - if that's okay, that is.
