The first Silent Hill game did it for me, especially in the beginning where you're walking down that alley. The atmosphere and camera angles freaked me, but it was just a game I had to keep playing.

I've played other "scary" games, but none have scared me like Silent Hill.

I'm going to hang out and wait for the Great Pumpkin. I know he'll come because I have the most sincere pumpkin patch, and he respects sincerity.

The big deal is that a lack of dedicated servers is having a negative impact on competitive gaming. There are, of course, other reasons, and some good general overviews can be found here and here.

Basically, this is all just a slap in the face to PC users; the series wouldn't be what it is today without the support of PC users.

Also, for you people arguing over the controller vs. keyboard/mouse, take a look at this.

I'm sorry, I seem to have misplaced my tiny violin.

But seriously, have some patience. Not having an avatar isn't the end of the world.

All things change. Its sad, but Heaven, Hell, and the World move on. Its fate.

I don't know if our world can move on. It's laggy.

If you have feelings toward any of them, Elfen, I'll totally stay away. But maybe Requiem would be susceptible to my advances.

Oh, so you were the one that asked me out on the reputation thing. ;)

    <3 or something.

Well I thought there was a separate CD of just the songs for diablo. In that case, I guess I like tristram.

Well, there is an OST, but I'd imagine it's just ripped from the game. It's available for download, if you're into that kind of thing.

Diablo II can be found here.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction can be found here.

The original Diablo and Diablo: Hellfire expansion are available there, too.

Amazons are a really fun class to play, especially if you like to sit back and snipe monsters or players from afar. A major perk of the class is that they have Valkyrie, which has been made virtually invincible due to synergies (and along with a mercenary, things die fast).

If you're going to use a bow, I'd suggest using Freezing Arrow and either Strafe or Multishot. Freezing Arrow, synergized with Ice Arrow, is great for slowing down and/or freezing crowds of monsters or for dealing with monsters that have physical immunity.

You'll have to decide on your own whether you want Strafe or Multishot. Strafe is great because it has a fixed mana cost, plus it has a fast attack speed and tends to knock enemies back. The only problem is that you're locked in position for a short amount of time, giving monsters time to reach you; and if you've invested in Dodge/Avoid/Evade and those skills happen to trigger while you're mid-Strafe, the remaining shots will miss. This is why a lot of Strafers tend to not get a Valkyrie - being unable to invest in Dodge/Avoid/Evade creates a weaker tank, so it's basically just useless.

Multishot is a little bit different. It has a slightly slower firing rate and the mana cost goes up each level, but you're not locked in place for as long. This means that you can safely invest in Dodge/Avoid/Evade, which, in turn, allows your Valkyrie to be a huge asset to you. You're also able to determine the spread of your arrows using Multishot (the further your mouse is away from your character, the larger the arrow spread, and vice versa).

Either way, it's your choice on what you want to do. I personally tend to use Strafe, but Multishot is just as effective.
