posted a message on Factors that killed D3

First of all I hate the casualisation they did from D2 to D3.

    - Changing a spec used to mean you would have to make a whole new character, giving you a good reason to level the exact same class multiple times.

    - Boss runs, where did they go?

I actually liked the D3 that came out in the start way better than the current one.

    - We had only 1 difficulty that mattered, Torment. Sure, it meant people went glass cannon cheese specs and barbarians was crying in the start, but getting gear meant something. Elite packs were crazy hard. Someone with sick gear in your group felt really cool. Now who cares, lower the torment lvl, god forbid you can't steamroll a rift.

    - Getting a legendary was actually a special feeling. Now they throw like 6 of them every rift... WTF?

    - Item trading. AH on its own was a good idea. If D2 had an auction house like D3 had, it would suffer the exact same problems D3 did. But in D2 we love trading and in D3 we hated it, have you asked yourself why that is? I am not telling them to bring back AH but it's one extra layer of things to do in the game.

    - Getting gear and farming was more of an investment. Now with seasons, noone cares about non-seasonal characters. It's just fast food gaming right now.

But the biggest reason I don't like this game:

Torment levels and "greater rifts" and this constant focus on rifts and seasons. It's lazy and uninteresting.

So here I come to the forum, for another season tomorrow. Where I will be fastfooding the game for around 2 weeks, farming all the required gear for that one spec everyone plays. Then once I have all that gear I will steamroll some high torment level rifts. Soon enough, I will quit the game as there is nothing more for me to do. The unending farm for Paragon Lvls and pushing Greater Rifts is NOT FUN.

posted a message on Are the new Blizzcon 2014 sets exclusive to Season 3? ...
So I got really excited for the new sets, especially the Barb and DH ones.I am hyped to get back to the game, but I don't feel like starting some farming and gearing up yet if these sets are exclusive to Season 3.

I also HATE this idea that legendaries are exclusive to a season (yes I know they get released to the "normal" ladder after the season is over). I want the new legendaries instantly and I am not in the mood to start a new character every 3 months... If people want to compete in ladders or get a fresh start with everyone else, that is fine, but don't try to force me to join it by giving new legendaries only there.

Edit: Or is it Season 2 maybe? Whatever.

posted a message on I don't like Blessed Hammer - What other AoE (not cone) choice do we have?
I have been running the boring Blessed Hammer with Thunderstruck build for a few days now and i really don't like it. It is a really slow (low cost decent damage) AoE that is very "stand still and spam BH".

I want a faster spender with higher nukes. For instance I liked "Fist of the Heavens - Divine Well" while leveling but it is just not cutting it in cost/damage ratio.

I am not interested in Cone AoE like Shield Bash, Slash and Heavens Fury (w/ spam rune)...

    Anyone has any solutions?

Stacking cooldown reduction and spam condemn + heavens fury ascended? ...

I am not having a good time on my Crusader these days. Even though i sit at 970k DPS w/ Laws of Valor passive, Crusader AoE feels slowww compared to everyone else with similar gear.

posted a message on Damage and Toughness stats for difficulty levels
I would go normal bounty farming until you have 500k dps 5m toughness.

You can then start farming some rifts in torment 1 until you get at least 1m dps and 10m toughness.

You can then concider going torment 2 but torment 1 is probably most effective (at farming legendaries) no matter how good gear you have.

posted a message on Where is our quick huge damage aoe spells?
I have recently moved from barb to monk. I am used to aoe packs just melting with rend+WW. I love quick AoE with huge numbers.

On my monk however, I seem to take forever to ramp up aoe damage and only see tiny numbers. I am talking a typical sweeping wind + cyclone build with vacum spam.

    What am I doing wrong?

How can i do huge AoE damage fast?

Is monk just slow at AoE?

posted a message on I LOVE Disintegrate - MP10 Disintegrate Build possible?
I basicly quit after killing Diablo on inferno after beeing forced to use Venom Hydra + Blizzard spec at the release. It was not fun.

I am eager to come back but I am not interested in the "critical mass - tornado - frost nova" builds either.

I want Disintegrate to be the core of my build. Not because it is best, but because it is FUN.

Is this possible to acutally go for this in MP10? How would the spec be? What stats would I focus on?
