Yeah, because they're sooooo interested in your opinion on their hobby.

Obviously not.Quote from garnok
a tick-box in the menus with "autoskip all viewed cinematics" isnt that hard to make, is it?
All it proves is that you have no idea how programming works.Quote from Gurkburk92
Yeahh... How did the natalyas set get the change anyway ? That CAN'T be a bug. How would it happen to just a setpiece that's demonhunters only ?
When Demonhunters gets nerfed to shit, and a setbonus gets buffed. Coincidence ? And it becomes "too good" in their eyes, and call it a bug.
Well played Blizzard, but we're not retards. & This proves Blizzards knowledge about buffing/nerfing, they have no idea what they are doing.

He'd be helping me kill them on the highest difficulty and, in return, he gets another shot at Uber drops. That's called "mutual benefit." Just because you and your friends wouldn't benefit from this arrangement doesn't mean that there aren't thousands of other players who would benefit from it.
If you can kill stuff on Torment 6 then do so and let other people who have less gear/skill enjoy this guy's service. It's not leeching. Get a clue.
All that I'm getting out of your post is that you're an entitled whiner who can't consider things from other people's perspectives. You might want to fix that before you chime in, next time.
edit: P.S. I perfectly understood everything you tried to explain to me. I know how RiF works and I know that the most demanding aspect of Uber bosses is farming the keys. This is all very obvious and you must have a hugely over-inflated opinion of your own intelligence if you think I need it explained to me.
P.S.S. I also understand that the concept of team-work doesn't apply to solo-players. I tend to play solo, but I would happily join a group if it meant that I could be killing Torment 6 ubers instead of Torment 3-4. It's not leeching if we're both receiving benefit. But, go ahead, keep telling everyone how they're getting screwed over -- we're clearly not smart enough to decide that for ourselves.

We must be looking at different threads, because that one aspect is pretty much all anyone ever asks about

Do you not understand how services work? They provide you something, often in exchange for something else. In this case, players aren't paying anything more than they would have to pay to do it solo, so there is no loss to the people taking advantage of this service.
To suggest that they're "leeching" off "naive" players shows that you're the naive one. This service is 100% positive, so don't ask backhanded questions like that.
(and, no, I haven't taken advantage of their service. I'm not sitting here championing them because it benefits me. I'm doing so because that question was incredibly rude.)

Here's a piece of advice: If you don't want your items to be "rendered useless" (aka, slightly less useful than other items but still as useful as it was before the patch), then maybe you shouldn't play an online game that is regularly updated with improved items and functionality.
OMG: My hammer jammers are USELESS because the new version has a better secondary. OMG: My thunderfury is USELESS because it came with a socket and I already enchanted another stat. OMG: I can still use all of my items and they're just as useful as they were pre-patch, how USELESS!
Seriously, don't play online games if you want everything in-game to stay the same forever. If you're going to play Diablo 3, accept that new items will arrive, old items will be improved, and AWESOME CHANGES like Ramalandi's Gift might make newer weapons better than the weapons you already have. Understand, please, that adding an item that improves weapons does not make your current weapon useless. It works for you right now, right? Well, guess what: It's still going to work in 2.1.
This community is turning into a bunch of whiny bitches who can't even accept good changes, changes that we specifically asked for, without complaining about it. In fact, if you're going to complain about Ramalandi's Gift, which, by the way, is Blizzard giving us exactly what we asked for, like, literally, word-for-word, then maybe you don't deserve to be playing games like this.
"Blizzard, we want an item that adds a socket to our weapons." "Okay, here you go!" "WTF, Blizz? Now all my old weapons SUCK!" Just stop fucking posting if that's how it's going to be.

In other words, everyone who has ever tried the Junger Method has done so incorrectly, because I guaran-fucking-tee you that none of you assholes have gone 6 hours in-combat without a legendary drop. Indeed, the only way to actually do that would be to afk farm a mob that you can't actually kill and that can't kill you. Even then, I imagine that the game would have something preventing the timer from kicking in while fighting one group of mobs for an extended period of time.
OP: Anyone who has gotten an RoRG with the Junger Method would've gotten that RoRG anyway -- the Junger Method had nothing to do with it. You can argue with me all you want, but that only shows that you don't understand the fundamentals behind how this so-called method is supposed to work. Remember: If the Junger Method actually worked, it would require you to go 6+ hours without a legendary drop. You never waited that long and neither has anyone else. It doesn't work.

Third-party means it's made by someone else. All addons in Blizzard games are, you guessed it, made by someone else. Therefore, addons are third-party software. If you want to argue semantics like this, you should probably know what you're talking about first.
Seriously, you have no clue what you're talking about here. Also, go ahead and keep complaining about multiboxing, but it's not going to change anything. If someone is willing to spend the money for 2+ accounts, they have every right to play them at the same time. Clicking a mouse and having all of your characters click the mouse is not automation -- you're still clicking your mouse.
0
TL;DR: This is the opposite of what you're expecting -- it means that they're going to start banning people.

"third party user interfaces"
What does that mean to you? It sounds like you interpret it as botting. It's not botting. Have you ever played WoW? Heard of recount? Recount is a damage addon that uses, you guessed it, a "third party user interface." It does not automate gameplay. It does not provide you with an advantage. IT IS NOT CHEATING.
Also, botters paying them off? What, does Blizzard have a store for botters to buy protection? Do they take checks? Use some common sense.
0
Also, I'm willing to bet that you don't know a single person that has been banned for cheating since RoS went live. You damn sure don't know "100s" of them. No one has been banned for putting something on their keyboard to keep them from going afk.
Finally, "third party user interfaces" does not refer to bots. It does not refer to cheating. It refers, if anything, to community-made damage meter addons. It's a nice way of saying, "we won't ban you for doing something that no one in their right mind would consider cheating."
So, basically, you're complaining because Blizzard might be alright with damage meters. Good job. Maybe work on those critical-thinking skills before you post another bunch of bullshit like this?
