I may spin up a Monk on HC for the first time due to this patch. Can't wait to get off work!
The new Dashing Strike is the bee's knees, as the kids say. Also check out the 2nd generator, that punches in a trident-shape. I can't remember the name of it, but it feels really good now.
Deadly reach? I love it, it's what I was using in the Beta for most of it... felt like I was the only one lol. Hand of Ytar on lashing tail kick is fun too (Who doesn't want to be a little Ion cannon?!!?)
just played a while and i dont know what the f can i do with my legs? salvage/sell/throw on the ground? dude my friends are not online 24/7 so am i and we cannot share items as we used to, i am pretty happy with most of the changes except this "trading" thing that doesnt make this game "multiplayer" looked Multiplayer . Remember the time when we dont wanna farm with friends pre-nerf inferno? u get that feeling again.
And also i dont care about lifesteal nerf but i just died 1 shot as DH to Rflect damage affix, solution pls.
For your one shot problem, id reccomend more toughness and possibly less damage build.
Most of the time however big announcements are posted from the main franchise site for at least Blizzard games then posted to FB/Twitter. I'm pretty sure he wasn't exactly "Supposed to" post that it was coming out today/tomorrow but... well ya know shit slips through and it's not THAT big. We know maintnence is happening anyways. just a 50/50 if it was tomorrow or next week.
If when the servers come back up the AHs are shutdown and everyone's items returned. They could say something they wanted to prevent the incoming buying and selling frenzy...
Come on the nuclear meltdown on the official forums would be beyond epic.
Can understand that POV, however Blizzard generally does big writeups in blogs for lots of things. While I'm supprised this patch didn't have one it might tomorrow. It's really all marketing though.
Stuff like this makes me hate Facebook and Twitter (more than normal). Games stop posting official stuff to their websites and just put it on Twitter or Facebook. I know it's tough for some of them to understand, most of us aren't so self absorbed (Facebook) or care so much about mindless prattle (Twitter) that we spend time on these sites.
I use Twitter, mainly for buisness to be honest. Sure I chat with friends there as well but my Twitter account was originally made for work. Really no eaiser way to get quick info out, as well as recieve it.
Content you can't outgear, well really.... that's the whole point of Diablo series really. Gear to get better gear to get better gear untill you have the best gear and do it more! But really.... you will eventually outgear everything if you play enough.
Loot 2.0, I feel improves on the current loot system and a lot more gear is more useful IMO so you get more frequent upgrades.
New content... Rifts & bounties are fun. You wont spend ALL DAY in the decaying crypts and Fields of Misery. Brings you to varied areas all over the game. There may eventually be better ways to farm but we will see.
Whimsyshire, I'm not sure tbh but I think it's pretty much the same but in some rifts you can fight ponies and they werent too hard. Nothing I wasn't able to manage they seem to be more in line with most mobs like i feel was intended before.
I find builds more varied. It's likely because of all the game changing legendaries. I had a staff that increased deadly reach damage by 52%... guess what i used for once! That staff now got no stats on it because of game changes but it still changed my mind on deadly reach I actually enjoy it no mater. Used to only use FoT. So yes, more variety and tons of builds you can use with legendaries.
I don't really see it being a problem at all. As long as some officers keep track of people being inactive on it. I can see a lot joining at the beginning and eventually becoming inactive.
