Edit: As for Teleport, it's currently very buggy in the beta. It's not consistent. Sometimes you can Teleport past things, sometimes you can't. Hell, even a wooden chair can block you sometimes. -

Kinmaul posted a message on Glass Cannon build viable?Based on my beta experience Volatility will lose a lot of effectiveness in team play vs solo. After they moved Electrocute to level 15 the next viable source of AoE was Shock Pulse w/ Explosive Bolts, but I noticed a huge drop in the AoE proc in team games because you don't always land the killing blow. Explosive Bolts has a 100% proc rate vs Volatility's 35% chance which is roughly 1 in 3. So not only do you have to make sure to be actually killing the mobs (which is pure luck most of the time), but also you are fighting with the rng that is built into the rune.Posted in: Wizard: The Ancient Repositories
Convergence would be great while leveling up and then swapping to Intensify at level 59 would net you better results in team games. -

Single target is allright, Familiar attacks the same target you do. Disintegrade does alright damage and Time Warp has a 20% damage buff as well.

I really dont consider ThuD cheating. It shows you information that SHOULD be in game already; in particular, you're DPS and how skills/different legendary powers influence your character. ThuD is bending the rules to make the game make more sense / more enjoyable.
Botting is outright cheating, and that's why I do not play Diablo 3 anymore.

I suppose it's possible the necro could return, but I would lay my money on a druid or an amazon. Because, you know, Skovos.

This. I don't get the whole obession with necros. Golems are garguatuans, and skeletons are zombie dogs. It's already done, people. There will be no necromancer.
Like I said though, this guy put in a ton of effort. It's just something they have stated will never be.

FACT: Damage for all classes need to come up to par with DHs.
FACT: Even then, this wont fix the problem of melee survivability.
FACT: Melee survivability needs to come up so they can do thier jobs
Opinion: this is where we guess how they accomplish this. They have melee passive damage reduction as a knob to turn; (up to 50% ?) And i suspect they will allow us to use gems to reroll secondaries into a resist of our choice (maybe?) This may cause problems with Harmony, which might have to be adjusted/revamped.
Opinion; what if they changed FireWalls/Ice Climbers to be immune to Fire/Ice respectively? With an immunity amulet, a pair of boots and gemming resist on gear, you might be highly resistant to three types of damage. Bow, lets go further, maybe Thundergods makes you immune to lightning and Profane Pauldrons immune to arcane? SHAGGY on the first page has it right; this is a symptom of terrible itemization on d3. we all use the same gear; there's very few pieces we could shift around; maybe they should add Set Bracers for the major sets and let us shift pieces around depending on what kind of damage we need to avoid - and let us customize our gear depending on what we do or do not find.
Or make individual legs competitive with sets; i definitely dont like the paradigm "use this set or..you suck" we're stuck in much at all.
